Thanksgiving 2007!!!

Hello Gang:

Does anyone in our group pin trade? We loved to pin trade at the parks and they will be having a pin trade on the cruise...

Wendy

Hey, Wendy, My girls love to pin trade. They're already talking about the pin trading on the cruise. Something our kids will like doing together. :) Melinda

I have all the requests that went to either Priscilla or myself and will make the call tomorrow or wednesday - there sometimes is some phone tag involved and will respond to all the PM's as well as posting here.

Chuck :cool1:

OK - as to the dinner link, I have the ones that were sent to Priscilla and / or myself.

Laura/LK4, I believe they could keep the 12 of you together and still part of the overall group. In 2005, we had 28 cabins linked. However, I would need all the reservation numbers either on a PM or to Icelaw21@aol.com

I will wait until tomorrow to place the call in case anyone else wants to join the link.

Next, I post the following from another family which would like to be part of the group here, but has had difficuties in being able to post. Please note the request for t-shirts and, by seperate email, I have been advised it is ok to post the email address so that she can coordinate the shirts. They would like to be added to the master list and here is their information. (and of course the email was not a bother).

Dear Chuck -- sorry to bother you "directly" with this e-mail, but I've been trying to get on the Disney Cruise Line Boards for a few months but appear to be "locked out". Despite several e-mail messages to the board managers, they have not even made any attempts to unlock my account.

This will be my family's 5th disney cruise. We will be boarding with you all on 11/17 staying in cabin 5624. The three of us (myself [also a lawyer, by the way], my husband and 10 year old son) live in southern Maryland. Please tell me its not to late to join in the "fish extender" fun and to purchase t-shirts. I'd take a adult medium, the husband would have an adult large & Robert would have a youth medium.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Sandy

The email is STRISSEL@aol.com

Does anyone know if cabins still remain? My MIL is interested in joining us know. The website does not show any rooms left. Should I just call directly? I thought that there would be some cancellations... Thanks

Wendy

My understanding is that as of last week there were cabins left, but a relatively small number. However, I think you would need to call at this point in time. The ship will be very close to full by the time it sails.

Chuck:cool1:

One further note on the dinner link: It is set for late seating - all of those who have sent info to me or Priscilla are also late seating so no issues there.

Wendy I would strongly advise you to call and find out what is left, then tell MIL that she needs to make a decision ASAP as this cruise most all ways goes out FULL. ( our 05 cruise was a sell out)

Good luck and let us know what you come up with

When I cancelled there were still some 5,6 and 7's left. They REALLY wanted my 11! Is MIL going by hereself? If so if available she'd have to pay for 2 people for 1 room.....

Now that you are not sailing you must remove the 2007 turkey day from the bottom of your posts. JK We will try to drink up the extra Miller lites that Disney ordered just for you :woohoo: Being a Bud man thats going to be hard for me to stomach, maybe if they are discounted:rotfl2:

We are going to book for next T-Day while on board. Maybe you can come back then:thumbsup2

Rob

Chuck, thanks for relaying the message from Sandy about t-shirts. I've added them to the list and will e-mail her shortly to let her know. In the event there is anyone else out there who wants a t-shirt. Please let me know no later than Friday, October 19! I can be contacted here or by e-mail at msklcassidy@hotmail.com.

Sandy, welcome aboard and thanks for adding to our t-shirt numbers. This sure seems like a fun group!

I haven't had a chance to work on the paypal thing for payment...DH (aka Goofy) went out of town and left me stranded with a sick dog and a sick kid! I'll try to get to that tonight. Also, 5infam...I'm waiting for info from Chris...more about that later!

I'm hoping for the same result as you! :rotfl: Keep bumping up those people in Cat. 10-12 so those of us in Cat. 9's can get a verandah! :teeth:

Well my understanding is that the ship is vitually sold out at this point and the cabins that do remain are veranda levels, so the possibility is there that they may bump some people to open cat 11's that they can resell for more $$$, but I would not count on much of it happening if at all. However, it is important to remember that you don't take a Disney Cruise to spend the week in your cabin and that the difference between a cat 5 and cat 12 in interior space is about 30 square feet, or about an extra 3 feet in length ( the other 54 square feet is the balcony). We had a cat 11 our first year and enjoyed the trip sufficiently well that we rebooked before we left the boat.

Chuck:cool1:

Chuck is right.. Very few cabins left and most are at the $$$$ Level. I guess we can all keep hoping... MIL backed out to much hassle at this late date. Thanks to everyone on the information.

Are we still posting cabin numbers we are 6138
