Hey all!!!!! Well, Jess (Sr. only has 2 classes)and Alli (Sophomore) started school last Thursday, Jessica takes her first college class today, taking 2 classes at Indiana University Northwest campus, Alli is taking college prep classes and is getting A LOT of homework....already......soooooooo there is the possibility that we me be Turkeyday cruisers one more time.....I talked to DCL and there is availability, and they will allow us to transfer from the eastern the week after.....hmmmmmmm we'll know by mid september.....

Well thanks all!!!! Jess had her first "college class" yesterday and LOVED it......it was a 4p.m. class I guess there were a lot of "old people" in there (you know 20's and 30's LOL) She too learned most of her work is "homework". Statistics and Anthropology.......heck her books for one claas stack a foot high......sounds like law school....LOL We are going to let things settle down then make our decision......

I am looking so forward to our cruise now that all the excursions, Palos, and spa things are booked. Now I can concentrate on my next adventure which isn't DCL .

Ok I know this is a DIS forum, but I know that some of you also have done RCL too. I am headed to the Western Caribbean on a girls trip Sept 20-24 on Enchantment of the Seas. I just have 2 questions for ya.

1. What beaches/excursions would be best to while at Cozumel?

2. Can I pack alcohol in my check in luggage and get away with it? (Gee that is one reason to love DCL even more)

I would also like to know about the packing alcohol in luggage for RCI - I am doing a gals only cruise on Sovereign of the Seas in Oct - I have read on CC that RCI does xray luggage but not sure if thats all ships.

I ALWAYS pack 2 cases of miller lite and a bottle on malibu rum in our carry on suitcase with wheels on it, as I empty it it is perfect for all those breakable souvies that the girls buy.....

Pack lots of FOOD the meals are horrible we did RCL Adventure of the sea out of SJ this summer and lost weight no need to diet before hand. However the ship was nice and clean ( I had to say something nice).
They were screening for booze and most of the people we had talked to had it removed from their bags.

Hi everyone im so glad they have this board im so excited i cant begin to tell you, this is our first cruise so everyone is a bit excited and with me telling how many days daily im sure that adds to it.. ha ha im traveling with my hub and kids boy 21 boy 20 girl 18 girl 15 and girl 2 also with my parents so the entire family is going to spend turkey day with mickey ha ha ha .. we are looking forward to all the fun things i have heard about on here just a little disapointed that we have to wait till sept to book....
