Sorry you guys missed the sailing, but I bet that your girls enjoyed the races. If the RCCL cruise I am doing this summer works out OK, I will be booking on RCCL out of Galveston in the summer of 2008. Maybe you guys can make that one with us.

How did everyone enjoy March Madness?

I know that we have some Trojans, Longhorns, Aggies, Hurricanes, Roll Tides (or whatever y'all call yourselves) and others on our cruise. Any Buckeyes? I'm sure we will have someone from Ohio, so here you go:

All I had to do was PROVE that we applied for our passports in January and they refunded the $$$$. Hey Willie, have you guys decided if you are sailing or going to WDW with relatives?!?!?!?!?

This thread is dragging. How about an nice lawyer joke? I have a new one:

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?"

She responded, "Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned! Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?"

She again replied, "Why, yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him."

The defense attorney almost died. The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, "If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you to the electric chair."

I agree!!!! We are looking forward to November!!!! Great news...my college roommate, Sue and her son Jacob (he will be 12 at the time of the cruise) are joining us again this year!!! They were on the 2005 cruise w/ us...the one w/ the rocky 1st night and then we missed stopping at Grand Cayman and Cozumel. However, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will have smooth sailing this year!!!

Please let me know if ya'all are sailing w/ anyone in the 12 year old range....Jacob met a lot of great kids on the 2005 cruise and he's looking forward to meeting more this year.

My DD Leah will be 12 and my DS Logan will be 14 when we sail. They're both looking forward to meeting new friends.

Awesome! More kids my DD's age. And don't forget I have an another DD who's 8. So, be on the look out for that age, too. She'll actually turn 9 the day after we get back from our cruise. But anywhere around that age will be good.

Melinda - my niece will be with us as well. She turns 8 in August. I'd love for her to meet your DD. She was kind of shy about going into the clubs in January because she didn't know anyone else.

Thanks for the great responses!!! Our DS, Mason, will be 8 in October. This will be his 4th Turkey sailing in a row!!! He's excited to be able to be in the next age group for the kids programming. He loved the 5-7 program in the club, but he's looking forward to the "big kid" adventures in the lab. He is very outgoing...he'll enjoy meeting other kids his age!!!

We were on the 2005 turkey cruise and we all had custom green shirts. We all stood out real well, I wore mine out to the bar a few times and was given a comp. beer two or three times. I think I still have it and just might have to bring it along for old times sake.

Do you think that my DS7 will be able to go up to the lab level? He turns 8 in December. I thought I read that if his birthday is a month away that he would be able to go to the lab instead of the club. Does anyone know?

Mary, I've read that too. I don't have any personal experience with moving children up to the next club, but it sounds like they would let him.

We still have our reservation on the Thanksgiving Magic.... But we also have 7 days reserved at the Boardwalk Villas(5 days) and Universal's Royal Pacific Resort(2 days). My family all swear that we are going to the parks. I swear that we are going on the Magic. But it looks like they are about to win out. I am the only one wanting to cruise. So, I guess that I will be changing the cruise to sometime in 2008. I want to keep my 10% discount and $200 stateroom credit that I got for rebooking onboard.

I am really going to miss not sailing with you all again. I have to say that the two Thanksgiving Magic sailings were about the most fun I have ever had on a vacation. And it was mostly because of the cool folks I was sailing with on those trips. You guys are really something special to the Miller Family.

I will drop by to razz Andrew every once in a while. Especially if a Florida Gator team ever loses a game.
