Rob that works out great for us the kids are having some of there friends meet us at the hotel and im sure we will all be at the pool so 9:30 at the pool works for us

Wow...made it home! Car is unpacked and the stuff that goes back in for later this week is set aside. Now, for the piles of that need to be done!

I see we're still not to 3,000! Shame, shame, shame....I guess without me y'all just couldn't get there!

Wendy, we decided to go the "northern" route through Wheeling...decided to stop at Gettysburg after all (and boy was it cold there on Little Round Top!).

I hope everyone has their shirts by now. If not, please let me know ASAP! (Debbie, I've got yours and sent you a PM about dropping them off).

Melinda not too sure this is out frist trip but im taking along 2 cases of water my gang really hits the bottled water, and im also bringing not too sure on how much some pepsi with me as well .

for pirate night my kids are packing jeans and there pirate tee shirts i would assume that is what they are going to wear .. unless that is something that is not a good idea, but that is what they are planning to wear

I don't recall seeing any adults in shorts on pirate night in the dining rooms. Jeans are fine. Mason and I were looking at the pictures from last year and pirate night was very chilly!! Lots of windbreaker type jackets in the "on deck" pictures.

Happy day after Veteran's Day!! Here is the perk of working for a bank...I do not have work today!! Mason and I are going to the Miami Seaquarium for a "mommy/son" day!! He has been there on field trips. On the other hand, even though I have lived in South Florida since I was 16 years old, I have never been to the Seaquarium. We are starting to feel like we are on vacation!! However, I do have to work the rest of this week, including friday.

Good morning, Gina! Today will be the day for us to get serious about packing. I have a lot of stuff set aside so far. DH was away for work the past few days, so he needs to get his clothes together when he gets home today. Tomorrow we are all busy with Boy and Girl scout meetings, so we don't have much time to get things ready.

My kids are still out of school due to the strike. They had a negotiating meeting yesterday but it didn't go well. We are entering our fifth week of no school. They HAVE to go back on Friday, though.

they have not come up with sub teachers or as they call them scabs to cover the classes that is really bad how are they going to make up the missed time? i know let me guess take away christmas and easter and other days ? and here i thought i was all about no child left behind ha these teachers i know dont really get paid what they should be getting but to strick only effects the children
