Thanksgiving 08 Decorations at FW for Christmas

We booked Thanksgiving 08 at FW and would like to know if they decorate
the camp sites for Christmas. Or is that to soon

Since the sites are decorated by the guests and not by Disney, chances are some of the long timers will have some of their decorations up by Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving weekend is the official "Start Decorating Your Site For Christmas" kick off.

There is one family from Tampa that comes for T-giving & sets up the most spectacular decorations. They must make at least 10 trips back & forth! They usually stay just one week & then go back home. It's amazing!

So.... make sure you bring anything and everything you want to decorate your site. The gaudier, the better!

Oh yeah --- make sure to either bring your own golf cart or reserve one, because you will definitely want to go looping to see all the decorations! (This is the closest emoticom to a golf cart!)

I would say at least 40-50% of the campsites are decorated for Christmas at Thanksgiving. We always decorate, and normally most of the sites around us are decorated as well.

You definitely will see a lot of Christmas decorations, we've gone in December as well and it's pretty much the same amount, so don't worry, you won't be missing anything!
