With thanks to you lot I managed to book ADR's and MVMCP tickets last night.

Going to MVMCP on the 6th December 2 tickets, international delivery, through US disney site no problem!!!! :cool1:

With that in mind we have book Crystal Palace character dinner for 4:50pm the night we are going to MVMCP!! :cool1:

Also booked Chef Mickeys on Saturday 3rd at 7:50 to allow us time to get there from CBR!! :cool1:

The CM i spoke to was lovely, really friendly and very helpful! We were laughing our socks off booking them, were both 26 years old girls and getting excited about breakfast with mickey and dinner with pooh!!

We still have the dilema of whether we should book the UK version of the disney dining plan?? £19.99 for each night your there......

I have read on some threads more focused on US deals that you must purchase the dining plan as part of your MYW ticket package........however on the UK web site I cant see anything about this?? Does anyone know if this is the case as in the UK we have differant park tickets available to us dont we?? We were thinking of purchasing the 14 day ultimate ticket for £159 so would we be able to seperately purchase the disney dining plan?????

Ohhhh soooooooo many questions!! Would love to hear from any of you who have been and paid for the dining plan and your thoughts on it, is it restrictive like you want your lunch but the places you can use your counter sservice happen to be he opposite side of the park!!!

Haven't got any experience with the dining plan, congrats on your ADR's :)

we were able to add on the dining plan without myw tickets we have the 14 day ultimate ticket or something :) and our TA just added on the plan seperatly ( we had already booked b4 the plan came out tho)

hth :)

we booked through expedia and werent aware of the dining plan till seeing it on here. So after further investigation I rang disney they said i had to book it through expedia, expedia said they didnt know anything about it (while i was on i also asked about magical express which they said they didnt know about!) so they said they would ring the hotel and find out, that was this morning and i still havent heard anything............

update while im writing i rang expedia back and they said i had to book direct with disney......im getting the feeling of table tennis here!! Disney say it has to be through TA and TA say I have to book it with disney!!!

anyway the guy said he'll try someone else for me see if he gets anywhere......

I wish disney had an email address it would be so much easier doing this stuff in writing so you had it in black and white and copies of everything.....

Update for anyone interested - after saveral phone calls backwards and forwards to disney and TA you can only book Dining plan as part of a package. If like us you have a room only reservation with disney you cannot book the Dining plan option. Even though i said what if i buy my tickets direct from disney they still couldnt do it. They said i would have to get my TA to cancel the entire booking and re-book as part of a package (even though my TA doesnt offer dining plan packages???)

there you go hope this helps some of you!

Hi
Just to confirm Mickey_Chick is totally correct!!!.....We go on Tuesday Morning to CBR and booked over a year ago with Virgin at the time of booking we had no knowledge of the Dining Plan. It was only on here that we found all about it. I rang Virgin and they didnt know...told me to ring Disney who told me to ring Virgin!!....Finally got to speak to someone at Virgin who knows about it all....off the 'Virgin' record she informed me that Disney had told them about the new Dining plan but because Virgin offer so many different theme, theatre tickets and a few deals with other dining places they were not participating nor do they know of any other UK Tour Operator that is providing this service...so basically it has to be booked part of you Tour Opertators Booking but no UK Tour Operator is currently offering the service!! :rotfl:

Hi all,

I'm going with first choice tues 13th sep, and booked the dining plan through them. They hadn't heard of it at first, but they looked into it for me and added it onto my room at CBR - only downside was I had to book park tickets too, I think we'll still come out on top even with the higher ticket prices.

I'm soooooo excited, look at my ticker!!!

we have booked the dining plan with jetsave !! it cost just over £700 for the 4 of us :Pinkbounc
