and my credit/debit card at Epcot last month! I was drinking my way around the world with my friend and almost had a heart attack when I noticed my front pocket was empty. I put my cell phone in the same pocket and must have dropped them when I pulled out my phone. (make a mental note to not put them in the same pocket!). I was definately buzzed, so I wasn't at my personal best. Anyhoo, I checked with guest services, and nobody turned them in right away. Guest services suggested I check back later because sometimes it takes awhile for items to get there. I called my husband at home and had him transfer my money out of my checking to my savings on line, and then I cancelled my check card by phone.
When leaving the park, we checked back at guest services, and both my ID and my check card were waiting for me! Nobody tried charging on my check/credit card. I was a super dork for being irresponsible, but also there were good samaritans who turned it in for me! Thank you good samaritan! :cheer2:

That's a great ending to a bad situation. That tells you there are still some good people in the world! Glad it worked out for you :Pinkbounc

When I was at one of the parks in Oct, I found someones AP in a FP machine, I would have died if I had lost my wallet! So glad you got it back!
I did turn the AP :earsgirl:

Congrats for you! I hope the person who left their cell phone at House of Blues on 6/2 during lunch...about 2pm...found it. When we were leaving DS noticed it laying on the bench and no one around. We gave it to the hostess hoping it found it's way home...

I left my AP in the fast pass machine by Space Mountain during our last trip week before last. Did not notice it until I went to get another fast pass later.
I really freaked out. I had a copy of both the receipt and the AP itself, back in the car. I was thinking about going to check with guest services but I thought I'd go back to Space Mountain first since we weren't far and check to see if someone had turned it in. It was indeed turned in by some sweet angel person. Whoever you are, thanks.

I always collect all the AP's so I can keep them safe and mostly it is me who goes around to get the FP's because there are some rides I just can't do anymore. So my family had a field day teasing me about safeguarding them. I am just glad it had such a happy ending.

Glad to hear you got your id and credit cards back! I know I would have been freakin out myself. I too have forgotten my ap in a fast pass machine at Tower of Terror. I noticed it a little later when I was in line for The great movie ride. Luckily someone turned it in to the CM that was at the machines. I obviously was not the only one though that day, the CM had a few of them.

We have been to Disney 25 plus times and over the years we have lost and recovered so much.

My daughter and her friend watched the evening parade at MK. When they got up, they left the bag that they had with them right where they were sitting. In the bag, was my daughter's friend's hopper pass, souveniers and all of her spending money. A cast member picked it up and turned it into lost and found.

My other daughter has lost over the years, her autograph book, her camera, and her cellphone. Everything was found and returned to her.

My advise to everybody, make sure your name and address is on everything. That's how everything found there way back home to us.
