Just wanted to say a special "thank you" to Pat for these designs. Thought you might like to see how they came out.

These are for my kids on our AK day. The shirt is a khaki/green & I used dark transfer paper. Shirts are 50/50 poly-cotton blend.

On these white shirts I used the light transfer paper. I made 3 for the kids but I like them so much I am going to go pick up 2 more shirts for DH & I.

Those look awesome! I was looking for two more designs to do for our kids. I'll copy you if you don't mind! Its the highest form of flattery! ;)

Those shirts are great!!!
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of transfer paper did you use? The last kind we used did not hold up at all when we washed them.

And special kind of printer ink you used?
Great job!!!!

I used Printworks transfer paper. I wash them without fabric softner & hang to dry.

I have an old Compaq IJ650 printer with lexmark cartridges.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I love to see the finished product.

Sorry for another question....

Where did you find that brand of paper. I found a different type at Michaels, and I am afraid they won't turn out as nice as yours did.
I may have to make a test shirt.
Again, awesome shirts!!!

I really like your color combination on the shirts for AK. Where did you find that khaki green? Having seen how great yours look, I can't imagine that design now on any other color.

I got the Printworks paper at AC Moore craft store. It's 10.99 for 5 sheets but I always use my 40% weekly coupon. I have been making shirts for our trips since 2005 & have only used this product. I still have shirts from 10/2005 that my kids still wear.

Well thank you very much.:) Actually I was looking for the tan/taupe color but AC Moore (that where I do all my craft shopping) didn't have the tan in childrens sizes so the khaki was choice "B", but I do like it.

Any other questions feel free to ask. I am not as creative as our wonderful designers on this board but I would be glad to help with actual application, product, & care of finished shirt questions.
