I'm not sure who bumped it, but thanks for allowing the Hanneme thread to come back to the board for a short while. I re-read every word and enjoyed every minute of remembering that wonderful post that made everyone here on the DIS/DVC board feel like comrades. What fun!

I have to admit, I think of our dear departed Hanneme lady often. She became a good friend here, as is her DD.

Sorry to see it locked, but I'm wondering if there is an archive where locked threads go that we can go read them again for old times sake. Does something like that exist? If so, I'd love to revisit some of Richyams old threads too! What fun times!

I read all of it too and enjoyed it. As i'm fairly new(since June) I saw lots of names I haven't seen before and wish I was around then to experience their wit.

I was so sad to see it locked too, feeling partly responsible for it (I was the one who revived it).

So, great question, Diane:

I was sorry to see it locked, as well. I, too, think of Richyams every time I go to OKW and think about his love of grand villas and ham hocks! LOLOL

OT but someone following this thread might know the answer:
I think I remember reading that some of Rich's ashes are near the "Here lies Fred" headstone at the entrance to Haunted Mansion. Did I dream that (wow, what a wierd dream)? If it is true, does anyone know the history? I greet Rich every time I pass that stone and ask his sympathy for my stay at the tiny BWV rooms.
