On our way out of MCO our pilot informed us that we had an engine issue and we needed maintenance to look at it. We waited about 1hr on the plane before they told us they needed another hour to fix it and we could now get off the plane to walk around and wait. They ended up getting us a new plane and we were in the air about an hour later. In all we were delayed about 2.5hours. They gave us free movies on the plane (and free headphones, no charge). I thought that was nice...
Well I just recieved via email a credit for $50 per ticket from Jetblue! :thumbsup2 I wasn't expecting anything-I mean we were delayed but it wasn't too bad. That credit will certainly get us back on JB for our next trip!
 
WOW That's great. I have flown JetBlue for the last 3 years and never had a problem. Can't say the same for other airlines I flew on in the past.
 
Well same thing happenned to us, but they tell us the delay was not over an hour so no compensation which I am fine with. What I don't understand is how come their website is not updated to say that the plane was delayed?? It shows that it left on time which it did not.
 
That happened to me once too. I was stuck on the plane thought for 2.5 hours before we took off. I was so mad I sent a scathing review to them after I got home, and also ended up with a $50 credit which was more than my ticket! So I forgave them and have not had a problem since! Flown them many times since then too!
