We had a great time at the pin meet on Saturday night. Although we did not participate in all of the adventure -- I personally very much enjoyed the pin meet saturday night.

It was VERY obvious that alot of effort went into the organizing of all of the adventure -- but the money and auction thing was VERY cool! Ed must have been worn out from Emceeing the auction.

Thanks for the effort that you all put it to it. The pin, lanyard tag and book are awesome!!!!

The "other" boards event couldnt have been near as fun -- all the best pin traders were at your event!!!!!! The best time was just seeing all of our friends!!!!

Michael

I can't believe I missed meeting you Michael! I think I need everyone I don't know yet to wear a HUGE sign saying:

HEY LYNNIE....IT IS ME: __________!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto to what Michael said...you guys did a great job! Wish we could have stayed for the auction and the rest of the festivities, but we had early flights on Sunday.

Thanks for the fun evening! :thewave: :thewave:

Ditto here too!

Great friends, and great fun! The auction just absolutely would not have been the same without our Auctioneer Extraordinaire, Ed!

Laurie and Jeff, thanks for the return of the GPA!::yes::

Thank you Laurie and Jeff for the great fun with GPA III!!! I just wish trading had not gotten in the way of attending your mini-meets! Maybe you should plan some more of them around meals and/or bathroom breaks! :earseek:

Carol and I also want to add to the chorus of thank yous. Disney needs to consult both of you on how to do this so they don't get non-GPA people asking CMs for their passport (one of Jeff's fond memories). It is the highlight of the weekend. I love the CM reactions to the scavenger hunt questions ("I'd rather sing to you than dance the tango with you") ("My birthday is in February, doesn't that count?")("I can say that my favorite movie is Alladin if that helps you") and having them sign our passport when trading with them.

When asking around for CM's with red cars, we came upon a trend....seems most CM's have white cars...what is up with that?

Just for record...there is a Walt that works at the Beach Club, most popcorn cart CM's don't like popcorn "after you smell it all day long..ICK!". there was a CM working the ice cream/soda/chip cart in the ShowPlace that had only been there 3 weeks...and they put the poor girl in the midst of a bunch of crazed pin traders!, the online listing of Main Street windows I found isn't all inclusive....there is a Home Sweet Home window!

Lynnie, you didn't miss much.....will elaborate later!
The GPA was great even though we had our own version with Margaritas and Cosmos happening and we had all the answers!
I would of bought everything at the auction but, Ed was not taking my calls, I was trying to be discreet with my bids!
Thanks Laurie, feel better (please don't edit), and Jeff don't worry I think I heard Wayne Huizenga was buying the Diamondbacks soon!!!!!!!:rockband: :space:

Wish I could have been there but I just didn't feel up to all the excitement and knew I would'nt have been able to keep up with Ed.
I am glad I got to spend time with some of you at dinner Friday and at the pavillion Sat and Sunday. Your thoughts and helpful information will come in handy in the next few months.
Can't wait for next year, when both Lauri and I will feel much better. Peggie
