Hi everybody- I know several of you gave me some good advice about a special needs stroller for DD 11 (ASD, seizure disorder, immune deficiency, etc.) Well, after much hemming and hawing, I finally decided on a stealth flash (it's being discontinued for the lightning, so we got it a lot cheaper). We primarily got it as a park w/c/stroller thingy for WDW, so that's why I put the thread here- thought maybe someone else could get an idea if they liked it or not.

Here's a pic of the "pediatric mobility base"

and here's a pic of DD using it with the canopy:

She loves it, but thinks the canopy is too small, so I'm making her a cover for it out of some cinderella fabric to make it a cinderella carraige :)

Thanks again!

It looks like a normal stroller extender would work to help enlarge the canopy . My DD's stroller doesn't have a shade as it would be $200 OOP way to pricey for a shade.I like those types of strollers at it isn't babyish and really convertible. My DD has been using hers since 3 and it still fits her at 6, she uses hers for long walks also.

We use the ray shade from kiddopotamous to enhance our shade. It should work, just take the wheelchair into toys r us or babies r us and try it out.

Thanks for sharing. We are still trying to decide if we want to purchase a stroller for DD. I will have to check this one out. Do you mind posting where you purchased it?

I contacted the company directly through the number on the website www.stealthproducts.com. They pointed me to a local dme provider- in my case, allstar in pflugerville, tx. A big plus is that the company happens to be located one town over, so of I ever need it worked on there's no shipping charges to worry about !

Also, thanks so much for the canopy info- it lOoks like it could be great!

My DD 13 has severe peripheral neuropathy/muscle wasting/weakness because she is in treatment for leukemia. We got her a transport chair/special needs stroller early on in treatment and she loves it. Hers is a Convaid CruiseAire and she loves it!
