Hi...we just returned from 7 glorious days in Orlando- and because of all the great stuff I learned on these boards- I saved a lot of $ as well...We stayed at CPGV for the $88/nite booked thru Hotel Kingdom...it was awesome! So clean...spacious- new looking (except for the carpet which was being replaced in surrounding units the week we were there). THe people were friendly- the kids loved the pools- we mostly swam at the Volcano pool at CP- but everything was nice. It was about 5 minutes to Downtown Disney and about 15 minutes or so to Seaworld. Excellent location! We managed to do Gatorland, MK, AK, Disney quest at DD, Universal and MGM. We checked out AKL and ate at the food court Mara place with vouchers- we also ate one night at Beaches and Cream at the Beach club (with vouchers). It was great exploring and looking at the beautiful theming of Disney deluxe resorts. When we went to MK on the monorail we asked about sitting up front with the driver and they let us! THe kids were thrilled! THe driver then gave them these little license things- a great momento! It was a full week but we all had a great time. We did O'hana breakfast at the Poly, and the character meal at the Liberty in MK. We also ate at Jungle Jim's- which was good. I've had so much help from these boards, if I can help anyone with any info- I'd love to!!
