Thanks for the Fun Event VMK and Hosts

While VMK is down, I thought I’d take a minute to start this post. Although the weekend special events can be frustrating at times, overall I enjoyed the event. I saw hosts and staff on patrol quite a bit yesterday. It is not always easy to say thanks while trying to keep moving. But here is a belated “Thanks!”

Friday, the prize was not my favorite, but the host rooms were amazing! It made up for the prize. I was doing the mazes just to see the rooms. The maze rooms showed our hosts put in a lot time and effort. I’ll never know where they continually find the creativity to come up with more and more room designs. And Phinny, I guess you do have a lot of orange crates!

I was very excited with Saturday’s prize. (I even missed most of the Red Sox game!) Anyone that did the mazes probably also noticed that there were many rooms “changed” to help the players move along. Part of me was really happy with the shorter wait. Another part of me was saddened to see some fabulous designs had to be changed so soon. Testing without a crowd of thousands can only do so much. If you didn’t get to see the rooms on Friday, check these boards for some great room photos.

Sunday’s prize, is okay. Hopefully VMK will be up soon, so we can all have some fun in the park. In the mean time...I go see what the sun looks like.

I'm home today since I'm sick so it was nice to be able to participate in one of the host events! It was so much fun and I purposely didn't check the boards to see the prize. Even though some have been saying that it's "only" a black crate, I still think it's cool because I love the surprise of getting a message announcing what you got!

I don't remember whose room it was in but it was the last room and there were candy corn chairs and skeleton chairs in front of them so that it looked liek the skeletons were sitting on the candy corns! I thought that was clever. Like souper said, I love looking at the rooms!

And yes, the lag does stink but I thought it was funny because when I got to each room, I was clicking all over the place to see if I could walk there. It took me a while to find out where I was, lol.

WoW! All of your rooms were absolutely AMAZING! You always make such wonderful rooms. It was a pleasure to visit all of your rooms. Each of you had such unique designs. Two thumbs up to all of you!

Actually, I started saying thank you yesterday in VMK... in the end room of the maze. Yes, and I really didn't see many people doing that either!

Not that it matters...or that anyone cares...but I had not read Batty's post when I started this one.

Here is my thanks to VMK. Thanks for creating a game that is free, brings me to my favorite place on earth on a daily basis, and lets me spend time with friends old and new.

This weekends events way surpassed the challenges we had two years ago. So Kudo's to VMK for evolving better as time passes. Thanks so much to the staff for your hard work it is so greatly appreciated.

I must say this is the best maze ever. From the original one this was awesome.

Special thanks to the hosts that saw problems with jam ups in their rooms and made the maze wider this solved a loty of issues. Thanks for a very well run event

Don't know about Friday, but I appreciate that the rooms were open till closing both Saturday and Sunday. Had things to do both days and was able to get some ghosts and crates after I got home.
