In theory, I have always been against cooking in our villa because I am on vacation. That being said, we have started staying in for one night on our last couple of trips (for our long trips, we always get a 2br) even though we usually get the dining plan, so we can take advantage of a dinner show or signature restaurant that uses two credits. And in doing this, I've come to like it a lot. We actually get more park time since you can always eat quicker in the villa than in a restaurant.
Since we drive, it's fairly easy for me to make things ahead, freeze them and then heat them in the room. This seems to be the best compromise for my not wanting to spend my vacation cooking and cleaning up the kitchen, and saving money and time.
