I just want to say a quick thank you to the people of Camden, SC.
While returning from taking DD3goingon23 to pre-K this morning, I saw two trucks from the Camden SC utility company...far away from home, helping us restore our electricity. Of the 11,000 power company workers who helped restore electricity to 1.45 million South Floridians (and the work is still going on), about 4,000 of those came to help us from out of state.
Our damage obviously occurred in the early part of Katrina, and our needs are nothing compared to the Gulf Coast, but I just wanted to say thanks!
