Let me start by saying again thanks to everyone who helped make this last minute trip a success. It was a long day but to see the wonder in my sons eyes made it all worth it. The crowds were not bad at all and an intermittent rain helped to keep a lot of people home. In a few short hours we were able to get into every ride that we had wanted to when we started. I dont think that we spent more then 20minutes in a line. It has been about 10 years since I had been to WDW and I have some observations.
First the CM are what make WDW the place it is it is as simple as that for me. I had to get out of cop mode because these people kept coming up to us and talking to our son and at first it set me on edge but then after the 3rd time I got it they really care if he was having a good time. That is very special. The second thing that struck me was how in 10 years the way things are kept cleaned. One of my wifes favorite stories is how when we were dating she had to use the restroom at WDW a small piece of paper dropped on the floor and a broom appeared from outside the stall and swept it away. I also remember how clean the bathroom facilities always were as we frequently camped at FW and used the comfort stations a lot. This sadly is not the case as of yesterday we were appalled at how dirty things were. I hope that this will change.
