I just bought 6 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. They will probably last about 6 months, but I couldn't resist the big blue eyes and cute little voice of my coworkers 5 year old daughter when she asked me. Then I couldn't decide which kind I wanted.

What did you get? I'm waiting not so patiently. I love the Tagalongs and Dosidos....could go for some right now! I usually leave mine at work so I don't have to share.

I know what you mean.. who can resist those cute little girls. My neighbor's daughter came by dressed in her uniform and the cutest western style boots. She had her cookies in her little wagon:cutie: Our favorites are the Samoas..though they got renamed this year. One box was gone in minutes:)

I'm too embarrassed to admit how many boxes I have bought and I'm sure I'll get "suckered" into buying more :rolleyes1

6 boxes of Girl Scout cookies would not last 6 months around me - probably won't last 6 weeks!

I bought 8! And the worst part is that I still have some left from my DD's sale in the fall. But he bought from me so I bought from his kiddo.

Oh joy!!! Is it cookie season? I haven't seen them around yet. I'll have to check out front of my local supermarket. I've been trying to lose weight since the new year. I will certainly pick up several boxes of those thin mints. It's hard to believe that something that tastes so good can make you thin.

6 boxes would last about 6 days in our house~ hate to say it, but the boxes and cookies get smaller and smaller. But shhh, my girls sell them!:rolleyes1

You have over a month to work out since they won't be delivered until the end of February....that's when site sales start too.
6 boxes with 4 of us in the house might make it 6 days.

I recently bought grapefruit from a teenager (well, her parents) who was selling them to raise money for a school trip.

I got samoas, tagalongs, 2 boxes of thin mints, dosidos and a I can't remember the name of the other one, it is shortbread with chocolate.

The only reasons why they will last awhile is because it is just me and they always end up behind stuff in my pantry and then I forget that I have them until I go digging through my pantry.

I bought 5 boxes from the daughter of one of the teachers at my school. Samoas (my favorite), Thin Mints and I got a box of those lemon ones. I didn't realize that not all girl scouts charged the same price. The one I bought them from was selling them for $4 a box. Apparently other troops are selling them for $3.50.

I usually buy a box or two from the little girls that sell outside Walmart, if the kids ask. If the parents are doing the selling and the kids aren't interested, I walk right by them.

I purchase them by the case.

There is evil in this world and it comes in the shape of those little green scout uniforms.
