I don't know if this is the correct forum or not, but I just had to say...

I have been lurking on this site for a year or so and I finally became a DVC member in September at AKV.

It was through the great insight of people on this board and all of the great feedback that I've read through various threads that lead me to know that this is best for me.

I've been to the World (and DL and DLP) more times than I care to count, but I am very much looking forward to my first trip home as a DVC member in January. I am going to spoil my nephews absolutely rotten!

So, I just wanted to say thank you for your insight, your advice, and your love of Disney. It helped another Disney freak to find his way.

I love all the comments about brainwashing and drinking the kool aid. It really is hard to describe to people just what this obsession is like. But, you all have hit it on the head!

I am wearing myself out with all the trip planning in my head: you know -- (to myself) "well, I could do the one bedroom in May and then try for SV in late June... is that enough time in between???" Can this fit everyone's schedule? How many points was that again??" Over and over and over.

But, I guess that is half the fun of it!

Anyway, thanks again for the warm welcome!

Dave, if you want to play with some room/stay scenarios, you may want to download caskillbill's SW. Caskillbill I really like using his planning tool to try out various scenarios!

Sounds like you could use the DVC-Planner program. See the link in my signature below....
