Back from our Race for the Taste trip. I had so much fun doing the race and I even got to briefly meet a few of you! It was my first race and I was very nervous, but I felt great the whole run. I just wanted to thank everyone on this board. I know I've been MIA for about a month cause I've been so busy, but this board helped me so many times when I had questions or concerns, especially about my hurt foot and knee - which felt fine during the race! I started running back in April and this race was a goal for me. I'm so excited now, I really want to do another race! Thanks again guys!

I'm thinking about doing a local Thanksgiving Day 10K... Tried to hit DH for the Minnie, but he says we're going to WDW in early April and late May, so that is gonna take some arm twisting. Looking ahead I'm hoping to get a race number for the Peachtree 10K and ~maybe~ thinking ahead to the Disney half in 2009.

DH is doing the Georgia ING half in late March. I'm playing with that idea, but a little scared about it. There is no time limit since it shares the full course - might be a good first half for me?
