Thank You Webmaster Alex For The Server Migration and a Faster DIS

All Camping Board members,

Today I listened to the April 18 DIS Podcast and at the beginning Pete Werner had some comments (maybe even qualified as a rant) about the recent server upgrade. Some folks on other boards (not so much on this Camping Board) have complained in the past (some forcefully) about the slow speed that the DIS loaded at.

According to Pete in the podcast, Webmaster Alex was responsible for the migration and I think we would all agree that the DIS loads a lot faster and is more responsive. Pete hoped that people would be as quick with their POSITIVE feedback as they were with the negative feedback.

So Alex, we aren't a whiny, snivelling, snarky bunch on the Camping Board. But from me I say "thank you" for your efforts.

And if you ever want to try camping at Fort Wilderness at WDW, the folks here are the ones to check in with.

I've only been around the board for a few years, focusing on the camping board for the last year. I personally have seen no problems, and I am pleased with how things flow on this forum. Alex, thanks. If I am in the campground with food on the grill, you are welcome to join anytime.
