To all of you who kept saying throughout the day "don't lose hope, don't give up"----THANK YOU!!!
I called a total of 6 times today. My co-workers hate me and the disney music that has been playing over speaker phone for the last 5 hours. However, when I called back 4 minutes after hanging up for the fifth time, the NICEST CM picked up, sounded genuinely happy, and after looking at both names and addresses...drumroll please...she says.."You got it! You got the free dining pin!"
I almost fell off my chair, I was breaking out in a sweat from having to prevent myself from jumping up and down and screaming 'woooo-hooo!'

So just a few details in case it helps anyone else. We were already booked at POP for May 15-May 19. I added 3 day tickets and rec'd the quick dining plan for $0. I was also able to stay at POP. She said that they just released the pin, it was good from April 23ish thru I believe she said Aug...anyway, she said that the e-mails were sent out sometime this afternoon or evening and that I may still get the e-mail after tonight.
So for anyone who hasn't gotten it yet, you may still!!!!!!

Seriously, don't lose hope!!!! Be persistent.....it's coming.....

I can't contain myself, and no one at work understands...

I have not yet booked my stay 04/18/11 thru 04/23/11. I am not sure how the PIN's work? Do I have to call or been a previous visitor to get a PIN?

I don't know much about them either. I know I have never rec'd an e-mail or a snail mail brochure. I just called a bunch of times and *voila* there was a pin. I have never been to the resorts as an adult. Only has a child, so I don't think that matters either. Good luck!

congrats to you! i keep calling and don't have one. why do you think calling multiple times helps? does one magically appear or is it there all along? do you think calling multiple times shows up in the system and helps or do you think your pin was "dropped" to your account during the day so it showed up later? i need a pin! nothing seems to work, i've done everything and am about to give up.

I have no idea what works! According to my co-workers who had to hear me calling for 6 hours last night, they think I ticked off Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the rest of the gang, so they all decided to just give in....

Oh believe me I don't get upset...I actually had to put a cast member on hold a few times, I work for a police department. So I'm in front of a computer all night, sometimes its very slow....and when it got busy, well my partners in here did the main work and I entered the calls into the system.....It was an accumulated payback for all the smoke breaks they take. I wasn't actually on the phone for 6 hours, I called a total of 6 times over the course of six hours, so most of the time it was on speakerphone while I was in line..

Sometimes I worry about asking questions or speaking up because some seem determined to argue. I knew it must be something like what you described since I'm also in front of a computer most of the day. I have plenty of time to catch up on Disney podcasts on my admin. days.

yay!!! congrats! I still haven't gotten the e-mail, even though she told me I would. What is the dilemma with the planning?? I would go for the free dining!! But then again, I'm frugal, staying at a value, with the free dining....and I don't really look at it as free...I look at it as for the price of what they charge for one day at the park....they SHOULD give me food!
