Thanks y'all SO MUCH for the help with my trip to IOA.I printed out your game plan and it worked out WONDERFULLY!!!!
Love,LOVE IOA,but still not the feeling I get at WDW!
With the boys getting to be twneers/teens I see us spending more time there.Spider Man is the most awesome ride I've ever been on!!! WOW! We're coaster junkies and Dualing Dragons ROCKS!...went on it 5 times!! Our favorite of the trip.Que is so cool!
The weather was wonderful, cool in evenings,no crowds really.School groups at IOA but got there at opening and did the Marvel comics area before the groups got there, then they all seemed to be leaving around 5pm so basically walk ons on everything until closing at 8pm.Happy Hour at 3pm is awesome there too!
I was totally impressed by the themeing. It is a beautiful park.I was quite taken with Suess Landing. The pictures I saw on line didn't do it justice.I loved Dr S. books and so does Erich. It was like stepping right into his books.
Erich was AWE STRUCK in Jurrassic Park!!! He was so excited,it was so cute to watch! Joe and Lee found a place in the JP Lab area to take a nap...by the You Bet Your Jurassic game ...it's sorta in the back, there's a couple benches against the wall and the lights go down and stay dark for about 20 minutes. Erich played palentologist for almost 2 hrs, hatching eggs etc.etc...he was in heaven while us old folks rested! None of us are use to "commando style" touring" I quit that several years ago.Geez it wore me out to do it that way again! I took a walk around outside for awhile. That JP building is AMAZING...I swore I was in the movie!
Margaritaville had great food and killer magarita's!
It took us about 45 min. to get seated on the porch but that was okay, had time to enjoy a margarita,or two, and talk to people in line!
We will definitely be visiting
along with
on future trips to Florida!
THANKS AGAIN!!!
p.s....I'm addicted to the water cannons on Dudley Doo Right!!! I didn't ride it because I didn't want to get soaked, the guys came out like drowned rats!
But those cannons and shooting unsuspecting suckers...yea baby!!! LOL!!! I bet I spent 5 bucks on them!!!
