Back around 9/11 my family and I had the Disney Cruise booked but was forced to cancel because of the tragedy and my not being able to leave the country(job restraint) we were forced to cancel.
In Dec of 2002 we rebooked and have been patiently waiting for Christmas 2003 to arrive. We have kept reading these boards and taking in all the good suggestions and we feel as prepared as we are going to be.
With that I would like to thank everyone on these boards for their input. Your contributions, suggestions and advice have been invaluable to our trip planning since we are FIRST time cruisers.
Whatever the question I would always find an answer. These message boards are proof that there are many, many good people in this world and I hope to meet some while on board.
This will be my last post as my family and I are leaving in the morning for sunny Florida for a few days of exploratioin before we board the Wonder, Christmas eve.
Finally a very specail THANK YOU to verandaman for the postcard to my children. Your attention to detail ,IE: the Orlando post mark, just astounded me and excited my children. If anyone can take advantage of this kind act I reccomed it but remember one hand helps the other and I fully intend to hold up my end and contribute.
May everyone have a happy and safe holiday season.
