Kate, one of the lifeguards at Disney's Hilton Head Island resort, is terrific!
My DD Sarah (age 9) loves High School Musical and has been dancing since she was 3, so when she saw that there was a class at the resort to learn one of the dances from the movie, of course we had to go.
There were about 10 girls in the class and Kate helped break the dance down into little pieces so that they could learn it all. They were supposed to show off their dance moves at the Labor Day barbeque and pool party, but Sarah was the only girl who showed up. Kate took Sarah aside and they practiced it, then Kate asked Sarah to wait. After they announced all the cast members at the pool party, they introduced Sarah as a special guest to lead the dancing. Afterwards, Kate gave Sarah a "Magical Moments" certificate. Fortunately her daddy was able to get it all on tape!
Sarah took the certificate to school today to prove to her disbelieving classmates that it really did happen. Thanks Kate!
I'd like to write a letter to the resort commending Kate, I have the address but I'd like to know if there's a specific person I can address the letter to? Does anyone here know who manages that resort?
