My best friend has been planning a trip to WDW for over a year now for my family and hers and has done an amazing job. We are going to be there next week and I anticipate that our first trip will be truly magical (Wilma aside). I'd like to get my friend a gift to say thank you - maybe a gift basket in her room, a special service she can take advantage of while we're there, something special at a restaurant? She's been to WDW multiple times and has a ton of Disney items (especially kitchen items). I'd like to find a way to make her trip as magical as I know mine will be. Thanks for any tips!

That a real Disney fanatic (and someone who would be less impressed with their Xth trip on RRRC or SM) might enjoy.

Gardens of Epcot
Magic of Walt Disney Railroad
The Little Red BBQ (joke)
etc.

Usually $60 or so, but something a bit off the beaten path.

That is so awesome...how about a spa treatment or massage.

Just an idea! :cheer2:

Do they do spa treatments onsite at Disney? I was hoping she could do it while we're there. She is really bad about taking time for herself when she's at home, so vacation would be the best time, esp. if I could watch her kids.

Yes there are spas, ive never been lucky enough to use them! I believe that one is at Saratoga Springs resort, the other is maybe at the Grand Floridian? I am sure others will be able to be more specific.

Thanks all. Those prices are scary! (i.e., $115 for a basic 50-minute massage), but definitely would be a good idea generally. I think if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd like something she'll remember and/or can take with her. Anyone have any less expensive, memorable tips?

Does she have a PAL Mickey? He's an adorable park guide that tells jokes, knows wait times, and plays games.

How about a music CD ? They have so many from the parks---Fantasmic, Wishes ? Maybe get her a couple, with some disney candles or some bath bombs from Basin (in the Marketplace) and make up a little gift basket ? You know....soak in the tub with the bath bombs, with candles lit and while listening to the CD ;) :goodvibes

How about a nice sitdown Dinner thats always nice
