It's official. I am bouncing off the walls! Rather inconvenient to have to sit at work and look and sound (and behave ) professionally, but I leave in an hour and a half so wooooohoooo

I see that they have changed our seats on the outbound flight but they actually gave us even better ones so i don't mind. I noticed that they also switched to have me next to the window on both flights. I always give DD the window seat as she likes to sit there. Do you think it would be a problem if we just switch places when we sit down or do they not like you to do that?

Have a great time Tiggies! Let us know what DD's reaction is to the surprise.
As for seats, there isn't any restriction on who sits where within you group - we switch around all the time. I mean, if you have a special meal that might be linked to the seat, but then you could just hand it over...

Scottish Mum, you aren't too far behind us!

Well all the cases are packed and were collected about half an hour ago, safely locked in the boot of the car. I usually pack the night before, but not like this, smuggling bits and pieces into secret places for a quick tip into the bags at the last minute. Anyway, there are shops in Orlando so as long as we have our cameras, clothes, documents etc we can buy anything that's left behind when we get there.

School comes out in 50 minutes, then I can tell Tove I booked us a sleepover at a hotel tonight. Stage one of the surprise. I think she will be over the moon about that. Now I have to watch my mouth carefully. I caught myself singing , talking (with nobody else here ), so I accept that I am in full blown celebration mode.

Well we are home from school and she has just been told that we are having a Fun Friday. Instead of DVDs in my bed we are going to sleep at a hotel tonight. Her reaction was "TONIGHT?" Followed by her jumping up and hugging me. She is now hopping around the house (supposed to be getting changed), proclaiming that I am the best mum in the world. I wonder if I am about to be promoted in a few hours.

Oh please let my mobile broadband work tonight. I really want to share it with you all.
