Today, we returned home to "balmy" Wisconsin after fifteen glorious nights at the Fort. We arrived in January 1, and after a challenging checkin, and a longer wait to get to out site, all was well. Settled in our two sites with our daughter, son in law, and three precious grandchildren and my adoring husband and best friend of 41 years. How lucky am I? I think we did it all this year. The weather ups and downs were tolerable. Loved our location, 1450, and even though my cheesehead cows did not help the Packers advance, a good time was had by all. Disney thank you for the memories, to our gracious neighbors who did not keep us up at night, to the young boys who included our grandson to play, thank you. Keep up the great work. Tears were dribbling down our faces, as we left, but already know, " See ya real soon." Late November for us. For those of you lucky enough to be there, wish upon. Star for us. The schillings.

I loved your cows.
At the Fort at the same time as ya'll were. I thought ya'll were at the Fort but didn't know this was your site ,I woulda like to have met ya'll, maybe next time.
Glad the Fort trip was good to you, :goodvibes

Thank you. I did catch up with Serenitygr before they left. Yes, those were our cows! We will be back again next fall. I thought you were there as well. Should have connected. Safe travels. This is our 6th trip to the Fort in the last five years. Love it.

Wow, sixth time in five years. I'm SO jealous! We live too far away!

Well, we live too far away too, Wisconsin. But, we went to DW on our honeymoon 41 years ago, ( only 1 park way back then) , and then began our life of commitment to our Dairy Farm, 365 days a year, twice a day, every day!!! So, with grown children taking over, we feel like kids again. It is a commitment we made so many years ago to never stop being young, and dream. Life changes, the industry changes, and getting away is a bit easier than so long ago. Enjoy your time at Disney.

:wave2: Seeing your post tonight brings back so many good memories! I was so excited to actually meet a fellow Dis'r! Thank you for making that possible! It was an amazing journey for us as well- I hope we will meet again! I'm kind of thinking as soon as the kids get out of school in 2015. But then again... also pondering the idea of homeschooling for a year to try it so who knows? It could be sooner! Glad you are home safely!
