I wanted to say thank you for the thread you started about calling childhood friends. I had a great friend growing up but we lost touch years after we moved out of state. I thought about her all the time. I had made contact with her about 18 years ago, but then she moved away for college
Well....thanks to your thread I called her mother today (they still lived in "the old neighborhood") and she gave me her number. I called her right away. I live in NH and she is in MA. It was so cool to talk to her and she even remembered my voice! I couldn't believe it! Unfortunatly she couldn't talk too long, but she's going to call me back.
So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I had no idea that t hread would actually help someone reconnect with an old friend. I'm so happy to hear you did! Didn't you fell happy after you got off the phone? I was in a great mood after my conversation with my old friend! Hears to new friendships with old friends!!!
