I didn't know this forum existed so I"m posting this "thanks" a bit late. It originally was posted on the cruise forum on December 5, 2009:
I'm just pulling out of port on the Magic and already I've had excellent Disney service. I was an idiot and forgot my medication for the week in our car! We realized at about 4:40 when our last piece of luggage was brought to the cabin.
I called guest services and asked if there was time for my husband to run across the street to get my medicine. They checked with the hospital and the ship did not stock what I need (thyroid, as I don't have a thyroid gland, as well as some others.) There were 5 or 6 people who went out of their way to get my husband across the street and back on the ship with my medication in time for departure. I was an idiot for forgetting the pills were in the glove compartment and the Disney staff saved my butt.
I'm grateful and will be writing a thank you note when I get back a week from now. I collected the names of everyone who helped me so that I can mention them. There is such a thing as pixie dust.
Time to go to our first dinner on the Magic!!! I won't see this thread again until we get back next Saturday so I'm not being rude if I don't reply to you.
