A small set back in finances. The husband is umemployed, so we will not be doing the Disney Parks. Its official. We will atleast enjoy a much needed get a way to somewhere warm. We will be able to do the pool parties at the Tree possibly, if i get some overtime at work the next couple weeks. I am still trying to work the friends working at WDW for atleast Saturday at MK. Sorry everyone.

I'm really sorry to hear about your husband being unemployed. That's really hard to deal with, I know from experience.


At least you will be away from the daily grind and will have a very good atmosphere. There are loads of things going on at the host hotel so you can stop in there, if only to browse the vendor booths and soak up some atmosphere.

In years past we've had fun just hanging at DTD when the family was in town. :yes: You can see the energy, and clearly the difference in the demographics so to speak.

Granted, that was before they dismantled PI and turned DTD into a snore, but hey, people still go there to shop and get a bite to eat.

You will have a nice time, regardless. Hopefully, there will be a CM friend who can help you out with tickets to the MK on Saturday. I used to know someone who could help you, but no longer.

Take care now and focus on the time together, eh? Away from "it all."
