Costco is such a great store. We are giving them more and more of our business.
Last night, our portable DVD player that I bought in January stopped working -- it would no longer charge. Almost anywhere else, I would have been out of luck, but they took it back for credit and I purchased another one very similar to it. I was also able to return a shirt that was still all folded with the tags because my DH decided he couldn't wear anything that wasn't 100 percent cotton...and I bought that in December.
I didn't even have the receipts for these items...they were able to look them up.
I HATE returning things, and almost never do unless it's just a last resort. But it's nice to have this policy!
