By now, Phil Jones of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) should require no introduction, so let’s get right to it. In a BBC Q&A and corresponding interview released Friday, the discredited Climategate conspirator revealed a number of surprising insights into his true climate beliefs, the most shocking of which was that 20th-century global warming may not have been unprecedented. As the entire anthropogenic global warming (AGW) theory is predicated on correlation with rising CO2 levels, this first-such confession from an IPCC senior scientist is nothing short of earth-shattering.

No. I believe that the old inhalers were banned because they contained CFCs, which are thought to harm the ozone layer. That is a different issue from global warming.

I love how people seriously still believe Global Warming is real. People need to realize that the Earth goes through temperature phases.. It just so happens we're in one. Surprise, surprise. People who believe in Global Warming need to take a Geology class, pronto.

WEll, duh....THere have been several major and minor ice ages in the past eons. Why should this one be different?

It bothers me that being good stewards of the planet has been tied to something so controversial. The resources of the earth aren't finite and pollution is logically damaging. One scientist being an idiot doesn't change that.

That being said, I'm all for recycling, using less harmful substances, caring for the Earth.

But, I don't appreciate being lied to and seeing an African child starve when money that could be spent on world hunger is going to save the life of a polar bear. (Don't get me wrong, polar bears are cute, wonderful, and important but I value human life more).

I agree I use cloth bags when I shop and recycle ..that has nothing to do with someone lying to us for a very long time...it doesn't matter they can promote recycle and being good to our planet without lying about weather our technology is making the planet bad..when if you look through history you will see a normal up and down of temps..

I'm just saying the way they have done about it is wrong..
