I just love Fridays so much. What a great name for a thread

I had the day off work today and just sat in the garden on my deckchair with my vodka and diet coke. Only thing is our wall is still down from the windy day and everyone walking by wants to say hello and everyone else driving by either smiles or waves. I feel like I am in a gold fish bowl. Someone in a van even stoped by and said "you need a new wall". Hey lucky I like to chat so much!

My DH has put some extra hours in this week so he finished at lunchtime today. We've got all the boring weekly shopping out of the way so we can go to the coast tomorrow.

The girls are so excited but I've had to explain that there will be no costumes involved!

Our first trip to the coast this year and I can't wait!

Callums gone to his dads, after a busy day of school assessments, waiting in for the gas man, the Tesco shop, a nice treat of a hot choc and brownie in the coffee shop, and now I've got a friday night in,
tomorrow, I've got to work but am then hitting the town and painting it red with Sara and Ali, then sunday it'll be recovery with hangover tv in the morning and probably more DIY in the afternoon

Tomorrow we're hopefully going to buy one of those memory foam mattresses, then going on to a wedding fair in Manchester. In the evening, Scott's parents are coming to stay. Then on Sunday we're finally introducing his parents to my mum at a restaurant near her, I'm quite nervous!

All of the family (me, Tam, India and Georgia) are off to Brighton tomorrow to see The Killers.

Setting out early so I can get in a pub to watch the Liverpool v Man United match, check into the hotel, a few beers before The Killers (a few beers while watching The Killers) and an Indian after. Now that's what I call a Saturday!
