Apologies if these have been answered before...

Can you pay for the TGV onboard?

Can you buy a set or book of tickets for the RER between DLRP and Val D'Europe?

TIA

I can't help with your RER question (although I'm sure I've heard of people doing this before)

About the TGV I don't think you can buy tickets on board the train, but you can buy them at the station before getting on.

I doubt you can buy TGV tickets on the train - we never saw a conductor as the train was so long!! There are machines at the station though.

You cna buy lots of different passes for the RER and metro-I think they are worth it if you are goinf to Paris. But back and forth to Val D Europe I'm not so sure. There is also a free bus to Val D Europe from the bus station :thumbsup2

You can buy carnets (set of 10 tickets) for RER journeys to/from Val d Europe. They save you about 20% over the cost of buying the tickets individually.

I hate to piggyback but I need to ask a related question. If I buy round trip tickets on the RER into Paris can I use these on the metro as welll or do we need to buy an additional pass for the metro? Again sorry to piggyback but i thought it would be better than opening an additional thread.

Thanks guys, was hoping you could get tickets on the TGV because last time we already had tickets but missed the train through a mixture of delayed flight, lack of sign posting from T1 and sheer stupidity. Had paid extra so that we could change the train if necessary but didn't realise that you could only change free of charge if you take an earlier train...bleah!

Carnets were what we were hoping for - have used them in Paris and found them really handy.

If you buy a mobilis ticket this gives you the return trip to and from DLP to Paris and unlimited use of metro whilst there - i think it was about 13E
