Hi there

I'm new to the site and looking for some advice please. The only time that we have been to the park before has been when we are in France, but this time we are travelling from the UK to CDG. As we have booked all the bits and pieces separately there are no transfers to the park organised yet, and I wonder if anyone has used the TGV from Charles-de- Gaulle to the park and could let me know if this was easy to catch, reliable, costs, etc? We are travelling at the beginning of May
Thanks for your help

Hi Gwen and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each one :goodvibes

Have a look at this thread for details about TGV.

Thanks very much for the info - have checked it out already, and can't believe that it only takes 10 mins to get from CDG to the Park - and with a 3 year old on board, the quickest route is looking by far the best option for us.

Thanks also for your welcome to the boards - I have been like a pig in the proverbial muck this evening reading everyone else's stories about their holidays and can't wait to go back myself now!

Thanks again

Welcome to the DIS Gwen!! :wave2:

I have to say that the TGV is certainly the quickest option, but it may not be the most convenient, especially with a three year old in tow!! Also the trains are not nearly as regular as the VEA, so it could be possible to have a couple of hours wait after you arrive at CDG. And depending on how much luggage you have, catching the airport shuttle to the station in Terminal 2 might be a bit of pain. The VEA is slower, but it's certainly more convenient. :)
