TFW Meet 2008 The Mission: Wiener Salad & Margaritas - Trip Report Links on Page 1

C's only 44 pounds at 7, and A's about 42 pounds.
This makes me feel so much better - poor Leo's 6 and only just made it to 40 lbs! I swear I feed the kid, but he eats like a bird. His Dr. told me to switch to full-fat dairy, which has helped some. Sadly, this also makes his mac & cheese irresistable to me.

4. What is Florida's Child Restraint Law?

All children 5 years of age or younger must be properly restrained no matter where they are sitting in the vehicle. Children through age 3 must be secured in a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer's integrated child safety seat. For children aged 4 through 5 years, a separate carrier, an integrated child safety seat, or a safety belt may be used. (FL Statute 316.613).

This was weird to me because here in Pennsylvania it is 8 years old or 80 lbs.
Are you kidding? We don't even fund education adequately! I've never had the impression kids are much of a priority to the FL legislature.

Can I wait until we get there or should I call and change it right away?? I have until July 6th, I think? Opinions? Anyone ever do this?:confused3
Sorry T - tickets are the one WDW subject on which I have zero knowledge. BUT... are you really planning a park every day? No days off?! ;)

Wholly crap! I just got my letter from Disney showing my balance and stuff and I realized that I bought 8 day tickets instead of 10 day tickets!!!  Can I wait until we get there or should I call and change it right away?? :faint: Who are you and what did you do to my DLMAMA!!!!!!

I know they don't pay their teachers. Jim and I looked into moving there, before Jimmy. They were beggin him to come becasue his certification is in Middle School Math and Science. The salary offer made us :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .

Don't sweat it...Michael's only 44 or 45 lbs...although lately he's been eating like he's got a tape worm...he ate TWELVE chicken nuggets for dinner last night...normally 4 is his limit...and he's been eating non-stop for days...:confused3 If only it would make him TALLER so we can ride RNRC...

And Mmmmm....mac & cheese....:lovestruc

I say call them.

Every day.

Let 'em know who they're dealing with.

Let 'em know you're coming...pirate:

But ever-so-sweetly, reiterate your request for The Grandstand...;) When I made mine, I had them put on my ressie that a few friends will be staying there as well and all had requested Grandstand. Whether that works or not remains to be seen though...:confused3

Days off??? What are those??:confused3
How interesting, hmm, this may call for some shopping...

Oh. By the way Mo, when Tony starts yelling at you all for my shopping, I blamed it on you... You know, just to give you a heads up...

Oh - the Lands End stuff came, speaking of shopping...Wasn't crazy about the swim shorts...they had the George Costanza "swooosh" when I walked...that was hard to get used to. The nice part is, I bought my usual size and a size smaller (my friend said they run a bit big) and wooo hooo...it was the smaller size that fit best!! Seriously, they were ok...just didn't bite me...So I'm returning them and re-ordered 2 other suits (again in 2 sizes, heh heh) AND ordered 2 suits from Athleta (who were all out of swim shorts...bummer - they had nicer looking ones than Lands End...)...can't wait till Tony sees HIS Disney Visa bill...I just racked up $400-plus in a mere 10 minutes...

Sorry honey - if you're reading this, there's no room left on MY Disney visa...Love you, Mean it!!

Now I'm thinking that I need some new tops.

And maybe a couple of new pairs of shorts...

And new Crocs Capris...mine are getting kind of worn...:rolleyes1

So I made the call to WDW to get the tickets fixed. It only costs me $22 total! :woohoo: I was luck this time and got the nicest CM, Mitch. He obviously has never dealt with a Focker:rolleyes: as he was sweet as pie to me even with all my requests.....

...can you check my Magical Express information?

...can you check to see if my request for the Grandstand is noted?

...can you tell me if I can have 2 credit cards linked to my room instead of one?

...can you tell me what's in the Weiner Salad?

:lmao: :lmao:

I even got a "Have a Magical Day, Tracy!" :teeth:

You should call Jo, mine was not added and I did need to give it to the CM. I was told that I should receive my packette next week. :thumbsup2

Note to self, be on the lookout for neck craning and arm flailing;)

ANd he hasn't spoken to any in Member Services either.

Oh, I wanted to tell you ADR's are opening up. I wanted to get Coral Reef for dinner one night since I can't do lunch the last day anymore. I got 3 pm for my water park day, I am going to keep trying as I would like it later, but 3pm after a water park day might not be bad.

Oh and I made my Garden Grocer order.

Woo Hoo girls only 7 non fuzzy weeks until wienie fest!

That really sucks bout Spectro :( I had us scheduled to do it our first week... back to the drawing board ...

THis was on the News and Rumors Board if this helps anyone.

In our ongoing quest for continuous improvement, the Magic Kingdom Liberty Square Bridge will be closed from Friday, August 15 through Friday, August 29, 2008, for routine maintenance. The refurbished bridge is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, August 30. During this “Maintaining the Magic” refurbishment, we are reducing the grade on the bridge, making it easier to navigate for the parade vehicles, carts and other hand-pushed assets that will travel across the bridge, once it’s reopened.
While the Liberty Square Bridge is closed for refurbishment, additional entertainment enhancements will be offered to minimize any impact this closure might have on our shows and our Guest experience, including the following:
In addition to our normal 3pm Disney Dreams Come True Parade, a second Disney’s Dream Come True Parade is planned for 7pm.
Both Disney Dreams Come True Parades will follow a modified route, traveling from Town Square down Main Street, U.S.A., and circling around the Hub and back down Main Street, U.S.A, to step-off at the Fire House area gate.
Because the SpectroMagic parade floats are too large for the modified parade route, SpectroMagic will not be performed from August 15-29. However, additional experiences will be offered in the evening, including additional Castle Shows, extended evening Character meet-and-greets in Town Square and additional performances of the Woody’s Cowboy Camp show.
Wishes fireworks will be performed as scheduled

I really wanted Kelly to see Spectro too, oh well, if she is the Disney geek I think she is maybe this won't be the only time I take her...

So how serious are we thinking about Columbus day weekend 2009? I was playing with my point spreadsheet and I could definately do a long weekend in a studio at BW, just would have to make sure I call right at the 11 month mark as I know BW and BC go fast during F&W time.

I'm not a definite, but if something is definitely scheduled I am going to try and work something out!
