Who’s eligible for a vaccine in Texas? Can frontline workers at restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers, etc, get vaccinated already?

If not, that’s really unfortunate for any one who’s stuck trying to make a living but has concerns for their health or that of potentially vulnerable family members.

Well, they'll be an nice little experiment I guess. I suppose it helps that they have decent weather right now to do a lot of things outdoors, although, I know at some point it will be blazing hot.

I think right now, they are one of the lowest performing states on vaccination. Hopefully they can get that moving.

Not the first. Iowa is open and I think several others, including Montana and SD.

Aside from a little dip the beginning of Feb, I don't see much difference.

ETA: The dip is probably attributable to the "big freeze".

Michigan just went to 50% restaurant capacity today versus the 25% capacity she allowed about a month ago.

Philadelphia is allowing guests for pro games. Went to look up Phillies (baseball) tickets and home opener is at $425!

Even schools? I think most of the teachers would quit in my school if Indiana did that. I would. I am okay with teaching in person, but only if they all have their mask on.

Just because the mandate is lifted doesn’t mean people don’t still have the choice to mask up or even double mask if you believe that helps.

I don't understand why when we see such positive trends that they think they can immediately rescind all restrictions - it's only going to make things spike. We have the advantage now - press it!

I have had one dose of the vaccine and I have already had Covid, so I am probably safe. I still don’t think that this is a good idea. There are supposed to be a lot more vaccinations in the next 6 weeks. Why can’t we wait 6 more weeks. Maybe the governor just wants us to forget about our major power failure during a freeze?
