I found an interesting site for day crops and weekend scrapping getaways. I know someone who has been to most of the weekend getaway places offered and she said they are great.

I live in The Woodlands so I'm not too far from the day crop. I'm thinking about going to it but my mom's 70th birthday is that weekend and I might not be able to.

An old friend of mine is one of the girls that runs the crops. They are just starting up this business and I just found out about it this week. The Outpost @ Cedar Creek in Round Top is supposed to be a fabulous place and that weekend crop would be a lot of fun in September.

I'll decide if I'm going to the Aug. 21st crop when we get back from Orlando next week.

I called them today and they still had some spots left so I think Im going to try this one first. Plus its easier for me to get away a day instead of a weekend. Let me know when you get back if your going to go. Its always nice to meet a fellow Diser--and scrapper, lol.

Hi ladies!

I'm in Pasadena and was glad to find out about a wkend crop! I go to Scrapbooking Place in Deer Park on Friday nights sometimes for a 7-midnight crop. They even have an all night crop once a month on friday evenings, though i've never done that one. If your interested int he website here it is: www.scrapbookingplace.com
The people there are really friendly.
As for the wkend crop, hmmm.....i'm thinking that would be really nice, i've never been away for a whole wkend of croppin but I hear it's a lot of fun!

scrappnmom--are you going to the crop tonight?? I was thinking about trying one over there. Went to my LSS last night for a class and they said looks like our Sat night is going to be cx--not enough people signed up this time.
