Tevas: Yay or nay?

Unfortunately, there is no Nordstrom's nearby. Is there any other store that carries Crocs?

I'm not sure. If you go to their site, crocs.com look under products(a link at the top), then click on footwear. On the left side of the page there is a link "find crocs near you". Maybe someone close by is carrying them. Good luck!

Our whole family has Tevas. DD8, DS5, DH (who wears a wide 13 shoe), and myself. LOVE THEM. You can wear them in water and walking all day. Do it. You wont regret it.

I just ordered a pair from Zappos.com, just based on recomendations on the Dis (Zappos has a great return policy so on the off chance I don't like they way the feel, I can send them back for a full refund). I can't wait to get them! :goodvibe

I like the Catalina Cork because they look more like a regular sandal than a flip flop or sport sandal. So I can wear these in the parks or a restaurant!

When we went to WDW in July my DD19, DD9, and I all wore the teva mush flip flops and had no problem walking all day. My daughters raved about how comfy they were and we will be wearing them again next June when we go back.

This past May I took my Teva Mush flip flops, my Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals, a pair of Croc beach, and a pair of Croc Nile sandals. The Tevas were BY FAR the most comfortable. In fact the Teva Niles gave me my first ever blister at WDW and for the next couple of days all I could wear were my Tevas. I have tried on one pair of Tevas I didn't like though. I think they were the Stratums (?). Anyway they had a hard rough sole bed and were too rough on my feet. The Pretty Rugged Leather have a sueded sole bed and the Teva Mush have a squishy foam like bed. I leave in four more days and my Tevas are coming with me. I'm also going to give my Croc Beach another chance. They're very comfortable around here, but just didn't feel as good as my Tevas at WDW. Go ahead and buy the more expensive Tevas, as they are so much more comfortable than the cheaper styles. I didn't even have to break in either pair of my Tevas. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on.

Just an update. We got back from WDW Sept 24th and my Teva Mush flip flops won the comfort contest hands down over the Crocs. In fact after one day my Crocs started giving me a hot spot again. My Tevas also felt more secure on wet pavement. My D-I-L wore her Croc Beach, plus my Croc beach, and both pairs of my Croc Niles though, with no problem. My son started out with a pair of Croc beach, but then switched to his old Reebok sandals that he's had for years. In Dec I may be freezing, but I'm taking my Teva Mush flip flops and Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals. Love my Tevas!
