Teva flip flops in the parks?

I was looking into buying a pair of teva (the flip flop style not the weird style with all the straps and buckles, I think they are called "mush" or something of that nature). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has worn them to one of the parks all day and if they are comfortable to walk in?

Also, how do the sizes run? If I wear a size 5 in Old Navy flip flops, would I be a 5 in Tevas?

I have worn my Teva's Mush flip flops to the parks and they are very comfortable. Last May, I was desperately looking for some comfortable shoes to take on our trip, since,I got blisters on my feet the last time. Someone on this board reccomended the Tevas and Crocs. I walked a lot during that week alternating the flip flops with the Crocs and I was glad I had left my sneakers at home :cool1: I wear a size 8 and I bought my Teva's a size 8 and they were a perfect fit.

Ooops, I forgot to add that I am wearing them right now :rolleyes1

I wear the Teva flip flops at home all the time. They are great around the pool, but I don't think I would wear them for serious walking. They don't provide much support for me. I prefer the Nike athletic sandals, or the Teva with the straps and buckles. If you are comfortable walking all day in Old Navy flip flops, then you may be ok with the Teva ones. They are definitely more supportive than Old Navy.

Also, I have to agree with cocoswife, I will never wear sneakers to the parks. They are much too hot. I'm much better off when my feet can breathe. Also, my daughters like to carry flip flops in their backpacks, and change during the day. They say it's better to rotate rather than stay in the same pair all day.

I just got my Teva mush flip flops out of hiding today. There are so comfortable. Personally I like to wear tennis shoes to the park, my walking New Balance, but we go in January so it's not hot.

Thanks y'all!

I'm cool wearing sneakers to the parks, I don't mind but I was just looking for some different options and I hear a lot about Tevas. I've tried on crocs but, I'm not sure they are exactly what I want, I have not found a place to try on Tevas though so that's why I was asking about size.

Normally I can't wear flip flops because they bother my toes. I wore my Teva mush for me entire, week long, trip last July no problems what so ever. I love them.

They are true to size. I want to add if you order a pair the may seem small and alittle snug when you get them but thats ok, as you wear them they stretch and mold to your feet. It does not take long for this I did not need to break them in or anything.

I got my Teva's at "Shoe Department" at our mall. It's one of those discount stores that sells name brand shoes. Also, I wear 7-1/2 or 8 and mine are size 8 and fit perfectly.

I've always worn sneakers to the parks in the past but last October I wore a pair of the Teva mush flip-flops to the parks and I loved them - I'll never wear sneakers again at WDW!! And yes, they ran true to size for me.

I usually alternate between my Teva flip flops and the other kind of Teva sandals. I don't think I could walk the whole day in flip flops, but it feels good to change shoes when we go back to the resort and wear them 1/2 day or in the evenings.

I'm debating about buying a pair of lime Crocs for my trip is September.

We live in Teva flops all summer (and beyond!) and wear them in the parks. I like to order from REI Outlet if you have a store nearby you can pick up for free.

I have some great flip flops that I wear when I go, not Teva though. They are made here in Connecticut, I highly recommend them, they're cute and comfy!

Check em out!!
