Why don't you make the background one of the two default board colors? 50% of the time it will look transparent.

JC, here are the fla files I have for my flash sig pics. You will have to redo the links in the dissig.fla cause they point to my image storage location, but you should at least be able to recreate it. Thanks!

I've tried color changes, changing the desitnation movie size to match the image, but it always seems to take the color/size from the original movie...

As you can plainly see, it isn't the movies at all that determine the background color. It's the embed code.

Just change the embed code to one of the default colors and you should be all set.

(There are some small tweaks that you can make to the current movies to make them slightly smaller, but they work just fine like they are so why bother.)

I actually removed the color, and then the color on the target movie is what is chosen. Now I'll just need to see if I can figure out how to make them with a transparent background.

Don't tell me! Let me try fishing first. Unless of course, it can't be done.

True transparency can't be done the way we embed the object. I guess that is one of the things they are working on for Flash 6. It doesn't look too promising.
