Ive had coils.

For the past three years, ive had 8 brackets on my front teeth, then these *literally springs* connected on a wire to push my teeth together.

FOR 3 YEARS.

So im like "whohoo when do i get these off?? soon??"
"No sweetie, we still have to put you in brackets"
"but..but.."
"its okay! YOU WILL BE DONE HALF WAY THROUGH 9TH GRADE! "


...i havnt...been able..to brush MY teeth..in over...3 years...

Cant they at least let me do that!?

I have two messed up bottom teeth, they're pushed a little further back than the rest, but I'm not getting braces to fix such a minor problem.

I cant brush my teeth normally.

I fray the brush going over the coils.
So it cant reach my teeth.

Only the inside of my teeth, not the outer part.

Im not saying i DONT brush my teeth, because that would be gross :O, but i cant get underneath the coil, so i just feel...yucky, because i cant brush my teeth the full way.

People claim its not like having braces and I believe them.

I have ... two chains on the top. Maybe three. They're these plastic links that are attached to each other that go over the brackets to pull your teeth together so there's no spaces.
And I have some ligatures for where the wire isn't very strong.

MAN i hated those things.


They were little plastic..uhm..triangle things that were glued on the back of my 2 front teeth, to make sure i didnt bite of my bottom brackets.

They gave me a terrible lisp and eating was a nightmare.

Yeah I know what they are.
Most of my friends had them, they hurt like hell.
I don't have them. I didn't bite down a lot on my brackets, but it wasn't bad enough for them. That or my ortho doesn't use them..

I don't/didn't have elastics to join my bottom and top teeth together. It's weird, everyones had them.
I'm assuming I'm not gonna get them.

Ligatures is like a piece of wire that they loop around the brackets and stuff...
I can't explain good. But I had a wire that wouldn't stay in one of the brackets because my tooth was turned bad, so they had to use a ligature to help pull it over instead of the wire.

Its okay, i never got rubberbands either.
I dont think I will...well..unless when I get my braces I do.
I hope I get to have colors, its the least they can do for lying to me xD

I got colors once. I got plain light blue.
After that it was clear from then on in. Those don't really stain. It's mostly my chain that does.
