Test track single rider and 10 yr old?

If the kid is old enough to ride alone (7 is the magic age at WDW), can follow directions in case of an evacuation and is OK with being apart from their own party for the ride, then go for it. Have a designated meeting place when you disembark, like maybe the area where they display the ride photos.

We have been doing it since my daughter was 8, she's 12 now.
I just go first, that way I'm at the other side waiting when she gets off...

I think you have been lucky that you have always been positioned in the car slots to get done first, as we have not always had that happen when I am ahead of DD in the TT or RSR single rider line. I usually go first, DD 2nd and DH behind her. More than once at both TT and RSR, they have pulled me and put me in one of the car line up slots where my group was lined up behind another group who was getting the next car, and my group would be in the round of cars that came through after that. DD was then pulled and immediately put in an empty spot in a car, or in a slot for the next round of cars so even though she was behind me, she went with the first round of cars and I was still standing on the platform watching her drive off while I waited for the next set of cars. So, OP I would say just be sure that your DD knows that even though you are in front of her in line, that does not mean you will definitely be off the ride before her, so if she doesn't see you in the photo area, she needs to stay put until you get here.

True, this is always a possibility. It doesn't usuallybhapprn that way, and you could always switch places if you see that's hownits lined up, but of course your child should be instructed to just wait for you by the photos regardless.

I wouldn't hesitate to do this if you want to save time, but you don't get to design your own car in the single rider line.

We've let my son ride things alone and it's fine (he is 9, almost 10). Last summer he wanted to ride Dinosaur multiple times. I was 7 months pregnant, our 3 year old was too small, and my husband was sick of the ride, so he rode it by himself 4 times in a row. My husband just met him at the exit each time. Unless your child would be upset riding on her own, I don't think it should be an issue.

We let my 13 year old niece do single rider and she has no problems waiting for me or my parents at the exit.

There is no real usual. In the morning (before 10)we have had luck at TT SR, only five minutes or so, but there have been times when the wait has built much quicker than that.
My general experience (meaning usually the case, but not always) is that if standby is under 45 minutes, SR is less than 15 .... But once standby gets above 45 minutes, the SR line builds exponentially - with more and more families deciding to split up and join the single rider line.

If she's ridden it before or you know she'll love it, I see no issue. My oldest was a little timid, so I would not put him on alone a thrill ride he hadn't tried already, but that's more kid specific than age.

One thing to consider is the possibility of the ride having a problem while either one of you is still on the ride and the other has finished, or not boarded yet... as long as everyone knows what to do, there should not be any problem

Would you let your 10 yr old daughter do single rider at TT? At what point do they spilt them for you? Was thinking maybe this would be easier then getting FP+?

Yes the minimum age for riding solo is 8. 10 is definitely old enough. You will only be separated for less than 5 minutes.
