Test Track...scary OR not?

I haven't been to Disney since 96'. Alot has changed. There's all these great new rides not to mention Animal Kingdon and new countries in Epcot. I wondered how scary some of these new rides are..especially Test Track. It sounds kinda frightening. I'm somewhat of a scardy cat when it comes to rides. But I don't want to miss a thing while I'm there!

I don't think Test Track is scary at all. But then again, I love thrill rides.

However, I think you should ride it at least once, so you can say, "Yeah, I rode it, but I didn't like it that much." Who knows, you might love it!!

i have been on test track many times and I love it. Basically, its a ride that shows you all the behind the scenes footage on how they test cars. If you like driving, you will like this.

Not scary. Even if you're scared of thrill rides. Personally I've always thought putting it in that category is stretching it. Worry about Tower of Terror or R&R instead.

Since my dad drives about the same way the ride does, I didn't find it bad at all!

Really, imagine doing evasive manuvers in your own car, then pedal-to-the-metal for a half a lap around a race track. That's the ride in a nutshell.

I am not a big roller coaster fan (even though I have some how managed to ride the rockin'roller coaster 2x- and majorly freaked out both times), but my DBF is even worse than I am. He was terrified of going on test track b/c you can't really see what is going on until you are on it. He was shaking on line and wouldn't believe me that it wasn't that bad. Anyways - he loved it and can't stop talking about it. It does go about 60mph, but you are in a car and have actual seatbelts on. So no crazy loops or anything like that. Its definatly a ride to do.

Not scary - kind of funny actually! You go fast for a little bit! thats about it! No drops or anything! You can tell a ride is not to bad when you sit in it and all you put on is a belt around your waist! Its great!

I am a 39 yr old "wuss mom" who won't ride TOT OR Mission Space ... (rode RRC once with pressure from 7 yr old child - not again)...

Anyway, TEST TRACK IS MY FAVORITE RIDE!!! I loooove it.

So, if you're not a thrill rider, you still may love it like I do!

ok, even thought test track is a good one, you DEFINATELY need a fast pass. the FP line is sort of long, but goes quicker than the regular line

I finally rode this ride this year after chickening out twice before. The people on these boards encouraged me to ride it. I did. NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm glad I rode it that one time, but I won't again. I thought it was too fast on the turns. I was shaking like a leaf when I got off.

Not scary at all... the only exciting part is the ride outside, but if you've ever ridden on the highway in a convertible, you'll find it's not much different =)

My dd5 loved this ride and she will not do thrill or scary rides! In fact she now claims this is her favorite ride! It is very fun. You should like it. We all enjoyed this ride very much. I would not call it a thrill ride, more just fast fun.

Our kids ds 4, dd 8 at the time, were afraid to go, but went on. They said it was "like driving with Daddy". Everytime he goes over the top of a hill fast, hits a pot hole (in Philly we have lots of them) they start yelling, "Yay Test Track". So this family votes "not scary at all".

Unless you think driving with a deranged big city driver is scary.

Not scary at all. Long lines for this ride though - I suggest fast pass. I don't think the ride is worth a 60 - 70 minute wait. It is fun though, just not too exciting.

Lame! TT is one of the most overrated and boring rides we have ever been on. Even the Norway boat ride is more thrilling!
