Test Track - How cool is it?

So how cool of a ride is Test Track??? We have never road it, think it was always down while we were there. I did watch the POV video but cant tell from that. My kids ages are 9 and 7.
Also any difference riding it at night?
Any ride in Disney you can compare it too?

It's not a roller coaster so we are taking apples to oranges. It is a very fun ride and has some cool parts where you "build" the car you are testing. Great attraction lots to look at. A not to be missed for us

It's one of my fave rides!! I love when it gets up to 60 mph around the track! It's such a rush!
There's really no ride like it to compare to!

Not to be missed especially with a 7 and 9 year old. It has an inside and outside portion. I think riding during the daylight provides the best views of the outside, but nighttime riding is super cool as well. You just might have to ride twice once in the daylight and once at night. This is the only ride in WDW that we ride multiple times in a row if we can.

The first time we've been to WDW in 2011, we rode Test Track, and it was great! However, I read that they changed this ride sometime after our visit. How different is it? Better now? Really curious about this, as I wasn't aware until recently that there is a "Test Track 2.0".
