morning everyone.

mic, we only have 4 more days til the weekend. that is a happy thought.

where's the coffee
where's the picture of the rise.....

sweets: took off work all week, hadn't planned on taking off part of the week but things changed. have a doc appt wed afternoon and then off to get son on thursday coming back late friday night.

today i will be cleaning out stuff that was stuffed in paper bags.

hey, doesn't everyone do that?

Morning

Neighbor is getting a new roof, have never seen so many guys in a crew (none of them cute either - darn:rotfl: ).

mac - DH has passed the torch, i now am keeper of the cat box...i feel so important. When does your son return from skool; how many more years for him to go?

mic - hate to say it, but the shocking random acts of violence on sopranos are so effective. Still creeped out over the restaurant scene shooting. Congrats on the clean bill of teeth.:thumbsup2

ocm - i used to read that sort of novels on my long commute into Pittsburgh years ago on the bus; we'd pass them around and share. My mom gets a harlequin book or 2 a month, they're racier than i recall. They even have a nascar tie in lol. Enjoy the park, taking bubbles? I luv blowing bubbles.:)

bob - def. post a pic of the cake. What goodies did you son ask for? Always nice to get a shot on goal, a tie is better than a loss!

Perhaps I can talk DH into going to the tournament. Never thought about following a player. He's just not the type to sit still in bleachers. Traffic's always a bear, to make things worse - the local town passed an ordinance that the locals can't park cars in their front yards anymore. The neighborhood around the CC is old money, multi-million dollar tudor mansions (everyone wants to make a buck lol). Several have rented out their more modest homes for $50,000+ for the week. Shuttle buses will be running from local mall since parking will be at a premium. We've seen the course before (through the service entrance;) ) jk; it's beautiful. Interesting how it crosses the PA turnpike. Members of my family have caddied there for years during school breaks, etc.; very profitable if you carry 2 bags...tough gig to get. They let them play the course @ times too.

ks, you got cat box duty???
you hate that job....poor dear

isn't it nice when the neighbors can share
you will be able to hear all the pounding and noise for today keisha.....

no, ahem, plumbers in that group?

son graduates , he'll have the degree saturday.
but, he has to do an intership with the police department before he gets the certification papers of completing criminal justice training.
once the intership is done, he is job ready.

and, he gets to come back home and live with mommie !

Good morning everyone. Hope all is well with you. Work is still fast and furious. I did get caught up on a lot of things. Baseball is in full swing now. Proms are coming up and my older son has New Jersey "skills" competition this weekend. That's a competition for culinary students that runs statewide.

I haven't gotten my line wet.....fishing line that is...this year but plan to do so soon.

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week.

bob--is your bowling league over for the year?

Actually, this Sat. is our last bowling night -- it's our "fun night", where they pass out trophies (none for us :lmao: :lmao: ) and all that stuff and our bowling doesn't count for anything (not that ours ever counted for much anyways ;) )

Oh, and speaking of baseball -- I got a call from Cam's coach last night, he starts t-ball practice (he just barely is under the age cutoff for t-ball versus coach pitch) on Thursday night. He'll have tae kwon do class from 6:30 to 7:15 and then t-ball practice from 7:30 to 8:15 on Thursday nights for a couple weeks until games start. He ought to sleep good those nights. ;)

double bunns

we are special

mr robot, i have really missed you. thanks for the heads up on what is going on for you and yours in your part of the world.

now, where is tony and ed...............tapping foot over and over

bob, more that the son will really sleep on thursdays, you will be also.

you come home from work, and then take him to two events......
i betcha you end up coaching or helping.

that will tucker you out also on thursdays. :thumbsup2

GANTwe sure have missed you and no fish stories for us yet huh??? ;) Guess you will be double busy with all your brood in this and that...wish your son well in his culinary efforts, keep us posted. So what did you think of your Astro defecting to the Yanks?:rolleyes1 Egotistical bubba... and double Bunns are always a plus to see, even if you don't like coffee, double Bunns are nice:upsidedow

Mac, good luck at the dr. and congrats to your ds on getting his degree. Do you have a graduation to attend for it all? Cool, I know you are proud. My ds has completed his first year of community college and I'm happy for him too, he has a very good GPA and is at least making the effort to continue his education. Can't believe it has been a year for him.

Pam, busy is as busy does.......I think I just made that up :thumbsup2 Tell Aubrey that yes, my teeth are shiny today

Bob, you will get a kick out of the kids playing t-ball. I remember watching my boys and how funny they are at that age. We were fortunate to have had a couple coaches that let them be their age, but also were keen on teaching them fundamentals also which I think is just as important as having fun. JMHO :goodvibes I'm sure your bowling event will be fun, even if you are trophyless, sometimes its just the fun of it all.

Ok, today has been one of those bummer days here at work, where every little nit pickin thing gets on your nerves and you want to just walk....I swear, I come in here in a good mood and they can squash it in the first 1/2 hour. All the things that are so appealing about this place are being eroded at little by little, so it will be just like everyplace else to work:sad1:

KS, petition for hot roofers, no run of the mill guys, we want HOT if we have to put up with the noise, and let's face it, girls need entertainment :woohoo:

I've already offered to help out, but I didn't want to coach this year. Soccer for three years was enough -- I need a little break for a season or two.

It's actually his second year of t-ball. The way his birthday worked out, he qualified for t-ball for two years instead of one (we had to get him approved to play a little young last season). I love watching them play t-ball -- but coaching it would probably drive me :scared:

Oh, BTW, here's some of the pics we had taken for Ryan's 2nd birthday:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1446725

I still need to download pics (including the cake) from the party :)

bob--love those pictures!!!! Your boys are soooo cute:love: Did you get them taken at portraits innovations? I think we are going to get the kids pictures taken next weekend there:thumbsup2

ks--are the roofers done yet?;) ;)

my phone has been ringing off the hook today...i can't get ANYTHING done today:confused3

They are so stinkin' cute! What great photo's...he sure is growing as is Cam...wow YAHOO I'M 2.......time flies

Thanks for linking to them..he just looks like such a character and gotta love that smile

Pam, quit talking on the phone and you might get something done:rotfl:

Let us eat cake:thumbsup2 , lots of it...1st day of 3 day diet; 2 more days to go. Got a bad feeling this is going to be another of those fads that don't pan out.

Roofers were all over 70 and under 20popcorn:: never saw a roof go up in less than 2 days.

mac - :cool1: for you & for DS; :wizard: and mummy dust that he finds gainful police-guy employment (ds is still waiting:confused: , soon they say, soon...how soon is now?)

pam - i'm far too poor to have friends in such high places as Oakmont...i did sell a townhouse there to a nice young couple years ago (couldn't believe the real estate taxes or the home selling price:scared1: location, location I suppose?)

Hi gant, have fun drowning those worms!

bob - sounds like you have the sporting stuff down pat.

Yet another squirrel has invaded the basement:confused3 told DH he better get the traps down pronto & fix the darn screen that's flapping in the breeze...think it's where they're entering (dogs have a nasty habit of jumping thru it to go outside)...i live in a zoo.

Have to attend Academic Games meeting tonight, planning for next season's schedule. My DS just missed making the national tournament this year, hope next time is a charm Iit's in Orlando:) ).

Hi all, I've been a busy boy. DW was away for a couple of night on a business meeting so it was just me and the boys.

The house is almost done, but its been windy so they have been painting by hand instead of using the sprayer, once they get the shutters back up I'll take pictures.

GO RED SOX!!!

Hey Ed, hope Linda had a good business trip...and you played Mr. Mom, what a keeper you are:hug:

I agree.........GO SOX..
