Pargo's is a chain?, not sure how far out of our area they go....(I'm thinking they are just here and one in VA....not really a chain at all, just local)

I think we had this discussion one other time, they have great salads, they have a bar if you want to sidle up for a brew, and then the dining area. Casual and we like it there, stuff to suit everyone, seafood, beef, chicken, little mexican and soups. Great French Onion soup, ask Momma... and good desserts, but we won't go there

Pam, hope the baseball weekend opens up with some wins.......and by the way, I won't be speaking to you until Monday no doubt, when HOPEFULLY, I can say the Sox took at least 2 from the Yanks It will leave someone in #1 and someone in 2nd or 3rd depending on what the other teams do............

Dave and the boys just left...they are heading to Lincoln to watch the Huskers play. Aubrey and I are going to hang tonight...thinking of taking her out for dinner than the park of her choice...it is beautiful here today...a little windy but very nice out.

I will be around later on if anyone wants to belly upto the bar with me

blonde is a state of mind hope you get the hue you (yoo-yoo - i'm positively giddy, sun shining 70 degrees; sorry got carried away lol) want. I'm rather dark lately, more low lights/natural color; hope the summer sun perks it up or this new hairdresser & I get on the same page quick like. Least i can go 3 months or longer and don't have noticeable roots; so i shouldn't complain.

mic - the DINGS are coming fast & furious this am ($25 & $50 fares - even to LA from Phila thru end of June...do you have it downloaded?)

Hi all...........how's that new blonde doing?? Yeah, I went really light last time, so it requires "fixing" more often as my real color starts to show up quicker, but I like it lighter once in awhile

KS, having fun in the garden? I checked my Ding, and not on the day we want to come back but two days later, there is decent fare, but it isn't til 5:30 in the evening, getting back to this coast at 1 a.m....I can't do that, then turn around and go to work the next day, plus I'm pushing it asking for too many days off.....so, back to square one...the day we need to return is still at $193 per person I'll play the game a little longer..then this thought crossed my mind....to save the $200 for both of us, by picking a "cheap" date, I would lose that much by being gone 2 more days at work, as I will be taking some of my vacation w/o pay......so if I try and look at it logically, I'll pay a higher price, NOT miss work and all will be well

We decided we wanted to stay home to watch the baseball game, so we are calling our dinner order in at The Outback, ds will pick it up and bring it home....so everyone is happy!!

my blondness is doing well I had her weave it with a little darker color so i wouldn't have to visit her so soon. I didn't realize how dark i had become...i had a little red, brown, and a little blonde going on. No i am mostly blonde now though. Got it cut a little shorter and added my bangs back in. I was tired of them being in my eyes all the time and since i will be outside more and i am sure the wind will blow i cut them off.

I then went and bought some flowers...ks talked me into it I bought a little flowery plant for my mickey planter and some strawberries that i am going to plant in a pot and put it on my deck...we will see if i can have any luck with them THIS year.

got a little 1/2 hr. nap in while i was trying to watch to see if i could see dave on tv at the husker game I need to go and mess with my hair though to see if i can get it so it isn't so flat.

I am going to my gma's bday party soon.

Mic--Have fun watching the game tonight....root for the yankees!!

mac--glad you made it back! hope you dig yourself out of the pile of laundry.

did laundry all day too, still sitting in the baskets - it'll wait for me.

pam - i flopped on the deck all afternoon ala a beached whale, now i'm burnt for my efforts. Think i need a Coors light to ease my pain (good of an excuse as any). Your hair sounds beautiful, I luv red highlights.

mic - outback delivers , gotta remember that. I cooked steaks & shrimp on grill. Marinated shrimp a combo of italian dressing & honey (equal amounts) -- mighty good.

Outback was good, now I'm full, ate too much even though it was salad and Momma, I got some of their French Onion soup...it was ok, but more like stew broth, different anyway.......it was so nice to see ds coming in carrying the big bag with dinner..I prefer getting curbside pickup from Outback, the line is always so long to eat in there anyway...it was a nice birthday treat from ds

In the spring, usually the first really warm days, we get swarms of these flying bugs in my pantry and back bathroom, well, they picked today to invade........ we've been fighting them all afternoon...guess they are ready for bed cause they have calmed down. We spray, you have to vacumm or sweep them up, throw them out and start all over...very annoying...hope today was the big invasion and they have retreated. We hadn't had them for years, then last year they came
back....ick...

and just for Pam, I think I was rooting for the winners today hope we can use this too.....I want the win tomorrow, but I won't be greedy...we can let the Yanks have one from us...NOT.......LOL

just got back from my gradma's thing. It was fun catching up with my cousin from Alaska.

Ks--i had the steak and shrimp tonight too! It was good and I ate more than i should have because the scale is NOT going to like me on monday

mic--glad your dinner was yummy! does that mean the the yankees didn't win? haven't seen anything about it yet.
