Yeah, the doctor said 2 weeks for foot to feel normal, could be longer, depending on how the stitches heal up, so we'll see......

it's warming up here now pam and snow is melting on sidewalks
only see the snow in the yards now. its 41 degrees now and we are to have a warming spell. then back to a cold spot.

So far we leave on May 30th, and hopefully return June 10th...return plans and tickets not purchased yet Oh, maybe I won't come home

Today is yes, black cat day.....it is a memorable one for me...my oldest is 28 years old today. He was born on Friday the 13th...I've always considered it to be my lucky day It also was Good Friday....he has not been a curse but my blessing

I'd think you'd have a worse time booking the May 30th flight due to Memorial Day traffic - go figure. Can't remember if you do SW, but they've been changing $ amounts several times during the day for my possibilities late June early July; not even Dings. Of course, if i'd come home a day early it'd be 2/3 less (ha!) I'm sure something will pop up. AirTran (whom I'm hassling everyday to book a voucher fare ) tells me theire will be movement/sales next week. If i didn't know better i'd think they're trying to get rid of me - palm the psycho off on the next victim.

mac - such a purty kittie, i've got a tuxedo in my brood; always worry for cats during today & halloween - some real weirdos out there; mine are all 'indoor' but sometimes they bolt & the chase is on...funny thing, they come back to go to the bathroom in the litter box. Evidently, missed the memo that they could relieve themselves outside - d'oh.

Sunday i am suppose to work but will suddenly come down with a sickness and go to my nephews bday party instead My sister told me one day and decided to have it on another.....so i am calling in sick....oh well, it will break my work schedule up....they have me working sat, sun, mon, and tues

mac-- it is 57 here....the weather channel told us it was suppose to snow today maybe it is suppose to do it overnight.

KS, I've book SW going out...not my first choice, but price won me over

I really need to fly back on the 10th...not the day before or the day after, so I'm still checking...today I got an email notice, went to check for the 10th, UP $20 from yesterday...guess they are even letting you know when the fare goes up also...if worse comes to worse, I'll have to bite the bullet and pay a higher price, but I figure I've got the better part of this month and early May to find something...something has to break. Now SW won't show what seats are available, but the other carriers are showing LOTS of empty seats, SOOOOOO...I'll play the waiting game a bit longer I guess. I'll listen to those that are trying to get rid of the PITA... and really watch fares close next week. I look around lots of places, but I like Fare Compare. Have you tried that yet? It shows all the airlines (except SW, which participates in nothing I think) and compares prices, then you can click what looks good, then click right to the airline website. Check it out

KS, LOL...believe me, at times when ds was a little boy, I felt I was cursed...he could be a handful, but he has turned into a good man, and for that I'm blessed. It's so easy for kids to take the left turn instead of driving on the straight road, so I'm happy both the boys are good. I know you feel the same way bout your brood. Makes me always think I did something right along the way. And yep, they got spankings, being grounded, losing priviledges and good old being hollared at, and they aren't scarred for life..

all day i have been eating chocolates.........i feel sick.....blech......

chocolate - yum! it still manages to break my skin out if i eat more than a few pieces! Almost done w/my giant Mr. Goodbar. It's so hard to find in my area. Also like PayDays, chock full of nutty goodness.

Youngest DS off to sleepover last night, ma & pa had fruity rum drinks and big bowl of popcorn (doesn't get any better for a hot date lol)...i was up most of night w/upset stomach...drinking lots of hot tea today.

DHs off @ the bike shop getting parts; been so cold he's only gotten to ride it home. Sad, he keeps going to the basement to check on it.

I need to go get dolled up for the big game ; supposed to have 2 inches of "slush" on the way home. Don't think i ever heard the term on a forecast before. Keep thinking of a giant cherry slushy drink; that would hit the spot now...probably has a zillion calories from the sugar.

have a good weekend; i'll be rolling in the slush.

Watched TV part of the day, did some laundry, played on the computer a bit...watched the Red Sox on Fox....ding, ding, ding....another win for us

Bob, when you get back, I think your Indian's picked up one of my favorite Sox players, Trot Nixon...he should be an asset to the team, if he stays healthy...that seems to be his weakness

Road trip to Wal Mart??? don't have to ask me twice, pull over so I can hope in the backseat.....got my plastic and ready to go

i'm not home yet...took a detour to dave's parents house to check on everything as they went to arizona to close on the house they just bought.

Walmart was a total mess. The CSS(customer service supervisor) called in sick today so i took over that job, they didn't schedule a customer service person so another checker went there....we had one checker till 8:30 this morning....i ran my butt off today!!! This job is suppose to be non stressful!! anyway, i survived and funny how i am going to be sick tomorrow

I got the stuff i needed to start running on monday!


anyone want to co-diet with me??? you know have a biggest loser contest on this thread??? just a thought....i know i would win because i do believe that i have the most to lose!!!

anyway, i will be on more a little later when i am actually at home.

i ordered 2 pizzas just for mr mac and myself. i told myself, hey, why do i have to eat the one he picks out. i don't do black olives, i don't do mushrooms.
i just pick them off and have tomatoes left on the pizza then.

so i ordered his pizza and mine. i got pineapple, ham and sausage on mine.
i can't believe i ordered 2 big pizzas. guess what we are having for lunch tomorrow.....??
