Hi all, another busy day for me...I did get to read, but just couldn't sneak in reply this afternoon.......sure has made the last two days go by fast though, and tomorrow is Thursday!!

Mac, sorry you are getting snowed under, what a bummer at this time of year...hope all is ok for you

KS, I watched DWTStar's after I dvr'd it, and fast forwarded through all the crap before the elimination...too much singing, dancing and what have you...just kick someone off. While Leeza was not that great, she sure was better than Clyde...I think he is the Sanjaya of DWTS

AI on in a few, we will see who he beats out tonight. Annoying little twit that he is, I look for him to continue. How dumb. It makes me lose patience with the show...favoring him over talent. Haley is using the "sexy" to keep herself on. The whole show just kind stunk last night. Even Blake was kinda bland for me.

Did everyone have their MickeyD's for dinner? We had a sparse dinner here too, mostly frozen stuff popped in the oven

Good morning...gosh, is someone talking in here....{{{yawn}}} I need an extra 40 winks this morning...man, I was sleeping good when the alarm went off, and was having some dumb dream.....when I can remember them, I know I'm sound asleep

It is Thursday, let's celebrate that fact...I go to work and have a foot dr. appt. at 9:15...wasn't even going to go to work, but thought she would witch more if I came in for 1/2 hr. then left. I have a calcium growth on the bone on my toe I'm thinking of having shaved off. My summer shoes rub it, I get a blister and it hurts. Sometimes even my regular shoes bother it. So I find out today if I'm getting it done.

I still haven't caught up on all my paper work, they won't leave me alone!! So hope today to do that and come back to play.

Tony, you are correct, AI is a joke this time around...although I do think Haley needed to go...she was cute and all, but I thought she had a 'tude and really wasn't that great a singer. This whole Sanjaya thing is beyond belief. It hurts the integrity of those with real talent. And my, they like to put Lakeisha in some revealing clothing don't they??

Still crunchin numbers ; have indicated that I'm not taking on any more this week - i'm done for the tax season. Sure not my fault they waited so long to file ; kinda ignorant to expect volunteers to hop to it.

mac - get the shovel & salt ready, I hear more's coming your way. We're supposed to get a 'dusting' tonight.

mic - owwie, def. get that fixed; podiatrists have that neat-0 numbing stuff makes it feel all better. and purty for sandal season too.

pam - glad to hear i'm not the the only one that needs a cattle prod (mostly for myself). DS got growled @ by ped. dentist for brushing poorly; sez he has gingivitus (sp); meanwhile the orthodontist gives him glowing remarks every month - i give up. Bought the products i was told to (2 different rinses) and told the kid to go at it.

ocm - how 'ya feeling? Did you ever have that bd party yet for the girls?

tvt- running on all 4 wheels? AAA has saved me many a day, managed to lock my keys in car (while still running ) 3 times in one month - d'oh; dumb blonde moment I suppose.

Penguins didn't show up to play last night ; hope they step it up.

Hiya.....back from the doctor..took me longer to drive out and back than for him to see me Gonna get it done, fairly simple, small incision on top of top, shave the little bump off, stitch it up, good to go. More time to heal than anything else. If they can do it within a week or two, that's fine, but if not, I'm waiting til we get back from Phoenix, can't be hobbling around airports and such. Yep, I'll have a pretty toe...although I have to take off my polish...drats...I have another toe that needs some reworking too but we are waiting on that. Now it's also waiting to see what the insurance covers. Hopefully, all of it will be covered, which if I'm reading my coverage right

I need to quit eating.......

KS, tell those tax-procrastinators they will pay triple for your services this late in the game......a smell a trip to WDW coming out of this..

that's what irriates me, if someone was doing my taxes free; i sure wouldn't procrastinate . It's supposed to be for low-income (elderly, handicapped). I had a woman with over $30 K in interest income told her to file an extension and seek out a pro...'da nerve.

I'd def. wait till after the trip, last thing you need is sore feet. It's a crap shoot w/health insurance anymore - best wishes on that. Seems like they throw darts to decide what % they'll pay. (if not, save those medical receipts for tax time lol).

Evening friends.......another slam bam day at work...each day this week has gotten worse. We have been so busy, plus some of the guys were at each other's throats today so it was interesting. I swear, most days, I feel like I have the same profession as Pam, daycare provider

We got a downpour of rain this afternoon, then sun managed to pop back out, but it is a little cooler than earlier.

I will keep you all posted on my foot issue..... I also have to go to family doc for blood work, ekg etc..more money to share with other docs ya know...

Speaking of docs, has momma heard anything new from her doctors? Waiting for news

Morning everyone,

TVT isn't feeling well, so he wont be waking us up. He actually gets to stay in bed. The rest of us have to drag ourselves out and get moving.

Pam - did your headache go away?

Ed - where are you?

Mic - how is your foot? I hope they can schedule you in early. If not, I agree about the wait time.

Mac - I can't beleive POP is already sold out. I thought about going the week or two earlier, but this will work out for me the way I have it scheduled now.

Keisha - you are a volunteer? Why didn't you tell the rest of us. I would have sent you all my stuff back in Feb. I don't blame you for saying no to anyone else. Let them pay for that service elsewhere.

Yesterday was kind of a crazy day for me. I called the Dr and his secretary told me the results weren't in, but to call back by Tuesday if I hadn't heard from her. When I told my mom, she told me to call Quest Diagnostic and find out how long the tests take. I should know something by today. I don't want to go another weekend without knowing anything.

Momma, your doc sounds a little uncaring and loony to me, I'm with your Mom, find out something now...and look for a new doctor.

My foot is more elective surgery than it has a need to be done. Not sure when they will set it up. If it is not within the next 2 weeks, I'm waiting til I get back from Phoenix. So far we leave on May 30th, and hopefully return June 10th...return plans and tickets not purchased yet Oh, maybe I won't come home

I don't think they are calling for anything but wind and rain around here, a noreaster may effect Ed though...

I agree KS, this whole entitlement theory that some people live their lives by get's old. Grow up and face the real world, it ain't always pretty and you don't always get something for nothin' What the heck did people do before they had free dining? duh, they ate less or they went to places they could afford. Geez......not saying it isn't a nice perk and a great way to try new places, but if they don't offer it, they don't offer it.

Today is yes, black cat day.....it is a memorable one for me...my oldest is 28 years old today. He was born on Friday the 13th...I've always considered it to be my lucky day It also was Good Friday....he has not been a curse but my blessing

Mic--had to work last night....that's why i was being sooo quiet Hope your foot surgery goes okay...i have to say...i'm with the rest of them about waiting till you get back though....my mom had foot surgery and was layed up for a few days with it.

Mac--how much snow do you have on the ground? We are suppose to get anywhere from 1-4 inches atleast with it being in april hopefully it won't last long.

ocm--headache is gone for the moment...give the daycare kids an hour and i am sure it will be back hope you find out about your test results today.

ks--thank god it is friday and I don't have to get the kids moving another day. trent has been awful lately....i don't know if it is his age or what but him and i are starting to go rounds!!

ed--what are your weekend plans? are you going to be a honeydew again?
